Saturated Canary 'Bella'

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all having a lovely week so far!

I am sorry I haven’t posted for a while, but even though school has broken up (yippee) I do a big clean this time of the year and every inch of house gets cleaned for top to bottom, including the paintwork, so I have been busy getting that done and out of the way! I am making good progress, but not finished yet (I know I’m mad)!  Phil and I are also going on holiday on Sunday so I am making sure all my DT cards are done. When we get back George will be home for this two weeks R & R, I can’t believe he has been out in Afghanistan now for over 3 months; and can’t wait to see him. I will stop rambling now and get on with sharing my card (lol)!

For a change I made a square card and used a gorgeous Saturated Canary stamp called ‘Bella’. It took me a while to colour her up, but she is so worth it. As always I have used Copics and Prisma Pencils to colour her with. The papers are from Raspberry Road  and the lush ribbon is from the Ribbon Girls. The corner dies, which I have added some Frantage to are Nellie Snedden and the Catalina border is a Memory Box die. Everything else is from my crafty stash.

 Copics I used:
Skin: E11, 21, 51, 50, 93
Hair: E57, 55, 53, 51, 50
Top & Socks, Bag & Skates: R85, 83, 81, RV000
Skirt, Socks, Bag & Skates: E43, 42, 41, 40

Pencils: Dark Umber, Tuscan Red, Burnt Ochre, Black

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit me and for your lovely comments you leave me, I really appreciate them.

Hugs

LOTV 'Bumble Bee Fairy'

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you are all well.

Sorry I have not been around for a while, and I hate to admit this,  but I have been struggling with the heat. My office at work is like a greenhouse and by the time I get home, I am completely shattered, the prediction is, it is going to get hotter next week, still I only have 3 more days left and then I break up for the summer holidays.

I thought I would ink up one of my LOTV stamps which I haven’t coloured for a while and she is called ‘Bumble Bee Fairy’. I have coloured her using Copics and added a few highlights with Prisma Pencils. Unfortunately the photo doesn't show it, but I have added some Stickles called ‘Star Dust’ to her wings to give them a bit of sparkle. The corner is a lovely Joy die and the flowers, ribbon, lace and embellishments are from my stash.

Copics I used:
Skin: E31, E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E57, E55, E53, E51, E50
Skirt, Flower, Headband: B02, B01, B00, B000, B0000
Top & Shoes: E43, E42, E41, E40
Bee: E57, E55, E50, Y02

Pencils: Muted Turquoise, Sienna Brown, Burnt Ochre, Dark Umber, Black.

I would like to say a great big warm crafty welcome to my new followers, and thank you for popping in.

Have a lovely weekend.
