Tangle Tilda

Hi everyone,

I hope you have had a good week and are all well. My crafty mojo has gone AWOL and with it my confidence to colour, so I  have been cleaning the house from top to toe and it is now gleaming. All the images I have coloured this week have been coloured at least twice and so many have ended up in the bin. As this post goes up I will be on my way (almost there) to spend the week with my parents in Lincolnshire, maybe a little break is what I need. Having said that Mum and I and sometimes Dad acting as Chauffeur will be visiting lots of craft shops in the area, which I am super excited about.

Anyway on with the matter in hand which is a new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia and this week our challenge theme is 'Celebrate'. The Design team are having a little summer break so this challenge will last for 4 weeks, therefore  you will have plenty of time to get your creations made.

I have stamped Tangle Tilda onto a Spellbinders die and coloured her with Copics and Spectrum Noir pencils. The papers are by Pion  and I have stitched them around the outside, I am still loving doing this and I think it's getting a bit better and neater. The butterfly is a Memory Box die which I have sprinkled some Blue Frantage onto. I am not sure if you can make it out in the photo but I have added some pearl dots using a Pearlen Pen along the body. The little tag is a LOTV stamp. All the pretty embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl, links to the materials are below, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

  2. Your cards are a complete delight Gina and this is no exception. I know what you mean about an AWOL mojo. Its awful when this strikes, but hopefully will not last long and you will return refreshed and ready to colour.
    Enjoy your break.

  3. Gina, there is certainly nothing wrong with your colouring, it is fabulous. The image is adorable and I love the design and embellishments.
Whereabouts in Lincolnshire are you travelling too. If you are near Grimsby I can tell you of a fabulous little craft shop with a café which serves the most delicious food.
Enjoy the rest of your evening.
