LOTV - Anniversary Surprise

Good morning everyone,

I hope you had a good week and are having a lovely weekend. Sorry I haven't been around this week, but I've just been so busy. Trying to get back into the swing of juggling work and getting my DT cards done is taking a bit of getting used again after having a lovely long Christmas break.

Anyway on with this morning's challenge, we have our first colour challenge of the year for the Ribbon Girl. The colour this month is my favourite colour 'Pink'.

I have coloured up a really sweet image 'Anniversary Surprise' by LOTV and used distress inks to colour with,  I am quite pleased with how the colouring has turned out, I feel like I am starting to get the hang of it, although I am very slow at the moment.  Around the image is some beautiful pink pearl string and the image is sat on a Noor Design Square frame die.

On the left hand side of the card is the lovely Noor Design Eight point die which has been cut twice once on white card and then using a contrasting coloured paper, (unfortunately this effect doesn't show up very well in the photo) and finally sprinkled with pink frantage.

The ribbon is my favourite pink silky crush, in the centre is a sparkly pink crystal diamante.

The floral arrangement is made up of flowers available from the  Ribbon Girl and there are a couple of pink pins peeping out at the top. Can you spot the beautiful diamante heart at the bottom?

Links to the materials I used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

The distress inks I used are as follows:

Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Hair: Walnut Stain
Dress and Hat: Spun Sugar
Waistcoat: Weathered Wood
Shirt and Shoes: Pumice Stone
Trousers: Gathered Twigs
Bouquet: Dusty Concord, Spun Sugar, Shabby Shutters

The are two fabulous prizes this month:

The  prize will be sent directly from Marianne Design

and

to spend in their beautiful online shop.

I will be back later to share another card for the new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia.

Thank you for popping in.

Hugs
Gina xx
