New Challenge - Fussy and Fancy - Flowers

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a great week.  School is on an autumn break this week. Phil and I went away for a few days to Wales, on Tuesday it rained pretty much  all day, but Wednesday was glorious, we were supposed to going for two nights but ended up cutting it short, as more heavy rain was forecast for Thursday, which was a real shame, anyway today I will spending most of the day in my craft room, you can't ask for more than that!.

Today, I am sharing a card I made for the new challenge at Fussy and Fancy. Our theme is 'Flowers', well that gave me another chance to make another Christmas card yay!!

This is Christmas Candle Tilda, I think she is so sweet, and I've used DI re-inkers to colour her.

I am sure you have gathered by now as I use them a lot, but the snow crystals are my favourite Christmas die, they are by Joy and available at Noor Design U.K.  The fern leaves are an old Magnolia die. For the sentiment I used another of the Joy dies and the text is from a Joy stamp set. The ribbon, pearls, pearl string, tulle lace, flowers and charm are from my stash. I have put links to the materials I have used at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Coat: Aged Mahogany, Fired Brick
Boots: Gathered Twigs

Hi everyone,

I hope your week is going well. Just one more day until the end of term, yay I am looking forward to having some rest and relaxation time,  we may even go away for a few days next week as long as rain isn't forecast.

I just thought I would pop in to share a card I made back in the summer using the lovely Rowan Fairy by Whimsy Stamps or she can be found here as a digi stamp . She is coloured with DI reinkers, the colours are listed below the picture.

The lovely lush papers are from the Berry Sweet paper pad from Noor Design U.K, you may have guessed, but my favourite thing at the moment is to edge the papers with structure paste. The 8 point, tag, and one of the leaf dies are also from Noor Design U.K. The fern style leaf is cut from a Sizzix die. The lace is from the Ribbon Girl. Everything else is from my stash. Where possible I have listed the materials below, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

New Colour Challenge - Ribbon Girl - Whimsy Winter Fairy

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are  having a lovely  weekend and perhaps enjoying some crafty time, it is certainly  a bit chillier now.

This morning we have a new colour challenge at Ribbon Girl and we would like to see your beautiful creations using 'Pastel Colours'.

I opted to make another Christmas card as I love making them. I have coloured up a Whimsy stamp called Winter Fairy with DI Re-inkers, the colours are listed below. I've sprinkled some glamour dust on her fur and for the lying snow and added some Star Dust stickles to her wings.  Along the left hand side I have cut my favourite ice crystal edge die and laid some separate ice crystals on top, finishing them off with a pearl which I've taken from a strand of 6mm White Pearl string. The ice crystals were cut in white card and I sprinkled some blue frantage over them to make the dusky blue colour. The roses and carnation have been sprinkled with twinklets which gives them a twinkly/frosty look. All the stunning embellishments are from Ribbon Girl links to the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
