Dreamerland Crafts - Holiday Greetings

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all ready for the big day, not long now. I am almost ready, I've still got some wrapping to do and one more card to make.

Well only a few hours left and then the school holidays begin yay!! I am currently making my last Christmas card and I've saved the hardest one until last as it is for my hubby! I have decided to try and paint a scene - my first attempt went in the bin, so wish me luck for my second attempt.

Anyway before I sign off for Christmas I thought I would share one more Christmas card using another of the Dreamerland Crafts  stamps from the 2017 Fall collection. This fabulous stamp is called 'Holiday Greetings'.

Holiday Greetings
I have coloured the image with DI reinkers and I have used glamour dust for the bobble, trim on the dress, cuffs and hat and also for the lying snow.

The papers are by Maja.

The pine branches have been cut from a fantasy die and I've painted on some white gesso. The stars have been cut from an Yvonne Creations die called 'TwinklingStars'. I've also tucked a winterfun die cut and some corrugated cardboard  in between the layers.

The pine cones, pearl string, lace and pearl cluster are from the Ribbon Girl.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain
Dress, Sack, Hats: Barn Door, Aged Mahogany, Stormy Sky, Gathered Twigs, Black Soot
Scarf: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutter, Black Soot
Bear and Dog: Gathered Twigs, Black Soot
Box: Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain, Black Soot

Links to most of the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

I will still be creating behind the scenes, but I am signing off for a while to have a bit of rest, but I will back either after Christmas or early in the New Year once I have recharged my batteries.

Thank you to you all for the wonderful support you have given me this year and for the wonderful comments you leave me, it means such a lot.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and Santa brings you what you hope for and wish you all a happy and healthy New Year!

I am popping back in with a reminder card for the current 'Anything Goes' challenge at

I have coloured up one of my favourite Christmas Maggies, she is called Tilda with Little Snowy Snowman.

I have sprinkled glamour dust onto the rim of her hat,  pom pom, cape and lying snow. Around the image I have sprinkled some white frantage and heat set it.

I stamped her onto Artistico extra white watercolour paper, cut the shape which is a Spellbinders die (Venise Lace) and coloured her with DI reinkers.

The pretty border on the left hand side is a Precious Marieke Winterfun die and the snowflake banner has been cut from a Lala Lands die. I have sprinkled twinkles over the banner die to give it a lovely icy look and added some pearl string.

Tucked underneath the flowers are a couple of sprawling fern dies cut from a Magnolia Doohickeys die and I've also added some twinklets.

Most of the flowers and snowballs are from my own crafty stash.

The white guipure lace, pink rose, pine cones, silver glitter embellishment and beautiful silver flake web ribbon are from the Ribbon Girl.

Good morning everyone,

I hope you have had a fab week, the big day is drawing near. Are you all ready? I'm almost done, I've still got a few cards to make and wrapping to do, but I'm nearly there. I am looking forward to spending Christmas at with my youngest son George and his girlfriend, they are hosting this year, I can't remember the last time we didn't host. On boxing day we are off to visit my eldest son Mike and his girlfriend so I am really looking forward to Christmas this year!

Anyway enough of me rambling on as we have a new challenge at Fussy and Fancy today and our theme is:
Christmas

This little cutie is a Whimsy stamp called 'Mistletoe Fairy'. As you can see I've not coloured her in the traditional mistletoe colours, just because I can lol! I fancied giving her some red berries. As always I have coloured her with distress ink reinkers.

The holly has been cut from a Joycrafts die, the ivy from a Leane Creatief die, and the gorgeous doily is a Fantasy die cut.

The papers are from the Hobby House.

The lace and pearl cluster is from the Ribbon Girl.

The flowers, gold berries, ribbon and jingle bells are from my stash.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters
Wings: Aged Mahogany, Barn Door, Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters

The winner of this challenge will win a guest designer spot for an upcoming challenge.

I will be popping back in an hour with a reminder card for a different challenge.

New Challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia - Gingerbread Tilda

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Sorry for not being around much lately, but with Christmas parties, and playing catch up with Christmas cards, time is running away.

Anyway today is our last challenge for this year for  Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia  and to end the year our chosen theme is the very popular:

Anything Goes
(we would love to see lots of creations, it doesn’t have to be a card, there are only two rules, it has to be a new creation so no back linking and there must be a stamped image of Tilda or Edwin).

I have stamped up  Gingerbread Tilda  and the gingerbread man from the Snowman and Gingerbread kit from the new release and coloured her with DI reinkers. I stamped them onto Artistico extra white water colour paper with a Stazon On timber brown ink pad and sprinkled some white frantage around the outside of the image. I have also sprinkled some glamour dust on the pom pom of her hat and for the icing on the cake.

The holly has been cut from a Joy Crafts die in brown card and I've painted some white gesso around the edges.

The pine cones, pearl string and carnation are from the Ribbon Girl.

I have sprinkled some Twinklets over the roses, which gives a lovely icy look.

The ribbon, pearl string, berries, multi row pearl trim and flowers are from my crafty stash.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Clothes, Shoes and Hat: Gathered Twigs, Pumice Stone, Black Soot

Our fabulous sponsor for this challenge is

Well that's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in and for the lovely comments you leave me😊

Take care.

New Challenge Marvelous Magnolia - The Night Before Christmas Tilda

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday, I hope that you have all had a good week. Well it's not long to the big day now, I have almost finished my Christmas shopping, but as always I am behind with my cards.

As it is the first of the month, we have a new challenge at
Marvelous Magnolia and our theme is

'Anything Goes'

I have coloured up an older Maggie called 'The Night Before Christmas Tilda' with DI reinkers and placed it behind a Crafters Companion Die'sire window die cut.

Along the top edge I've placed a Joy Crafts icicle die which I have covered with glamour dust. The pine branches are a fantasy die which have been cut in green card and edged with white gesso. I have also added gesso to the roses, pine cones and berries.

The square pearl trim, pine cones and lace attached to the tags are from the Ribbon Girl.

The lace along the bottom edge, ribbon and rhinestone sparkler are from my crafty stash.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Red: Barn Door, Aged Mahogany, Black Soot
Green: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters.

Well that's all from me today.

Have a wonderful weekend (I'm off to London tomorrow for a girly day out).

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.
