Some Exciting News!

Good morning everyone,

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.

This morning I am popping in to share some exciting news. I was asked by the very talented artist Dina Gerner to join the Digi Doodles DT. Sadly I couldn't commit to a card each week, but I have done the next best thing and joined as a Guest Designer, which means once a month I will showcasing her fabulous images.

If you want to pop over and have a look at her gorgeous images then you can find her shop here.  The challenge blog begins today and you can find it here and if you want to  follow the DT blog where one of the very talented team post their creations almost everyday, click  here.

As a celebration of anew release which includes autumn, halloween and Christmas/Winter we are having a blog hop. I am last in line, but don't forget to leave a comment on the Digi Doodles blog to say which one is your favourite. If you want to start at the beginning then hop over to Linda's blog.

I have coloured up Trixie and Zippy and what  a joy she was to colour. I decided to keep to traditional colours for this card.

As always I have coloured with distress ink reinkers  and sprinkled some frantage around the outside of the image. The border around the card is made of gold star trim.

The papers are a mixture from the Hobby House.

For the rolled up script, I inked up a Christmas text stamp onto coordinating paper with Versamark ink,  sprinkled some gold embossing powder over it and heat set it. To finish it off I edged the edges with walnut distress ink and rolled it tying it with some red twine.

The ivory pearl trim, and red twine are available at the Ribbon Girl.

The flowers are from my stash and the sprawling ferns have been cut from a Magnolia Doohickey die. The rose, fir cones and fern leaves have had touches of white gesso added to them.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Hair: Gathered Twigs, Grand Espresso, Black Soot
Red: Barn Door, Aged Mahogany
Green: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters
Dog and Gift: Gathered Twigs
Drink: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot

To be in with a chance of winning one of the fabulous holiday images, follow the blog and leave a comment as to which is your favourite image.

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Hugs
Gina xx
