Final Challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a lovely weekend. I think Autumn has truly set in now, and the colours are starting to look beautiful.

Today begins our final challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia as Jay and myself have decided to close the challenge down for various reasons.

We have had the most wonderful supportive DT past and present who produced the most amazing creations and are such lovely ladies, so I would like to say a huge thank you to them.

So my for my card today I have made a Christmas card using a couple of older stamps Winter Tilda and Old Swedish Church. I have used DI reinkers to paint the scene.  I sprinkled some glamour dust onto her pom poms, muff and for the lying snow and some white frantage for the falling snow.

The swirl is again an older Magnolia die and the star has been cut from a Yvonees Creations die. I have some sprinkled some twinklets on top which gives a lovely frosty look.

The flowers are from my stash, but the ribbon and lace are from the Ribbon Girl

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Gathered Twigs, Black Soot
Hat, Coat and Shoes: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot
Church: Stormy Sky, Mustard Seed,Black Soot,
Tree: Hickory Smoke

Our wonderful sponsor for the next four weeks is:

Crafteezee (formerly Noor Design U.K.)

That's all from me today.

New Challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting - Frosted Fox

Hi everyone,

I hope you have had a good week, I have been fighting off a nasty bug.

Today I am popping in to share my DT card for the new challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting. The DT were challenged with making a creation to a 'Wrapped up Warm' theme, but for all you lovely crafters out there it is 'Anything Goes'.

I have coloured up 'Frosted Fox' from the Octavia Frosted Winter collection, I think she will be lovely and warm in her fur hat and muff.  I have coloured her with DI reinkers and sprinkled some glamour dust onto the muff, hat and fur trimming around her dress and sprinkled some Shabby White frantage around the outside of the image finishing off with some silver pearl string.

The papers are from the Winnie White Christmas Papers 1 collections and the sentiment is from the Winnie White Christmas Big Kahuna.

The beautiful chiffon and satin trim (which is new to the shop), small white rose, jingle bells, and white organza ribbon is from the Ribbon Girl

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Gathered Twigs, Black Soot
Dress: Barn Door, Aged Mahogany, Black Soot
