Christmas Sleigh

Morning everyone,

Did you all have a good week? I broke up from school yesterday yay, so it's time to relax and look forward to Christmas. We are completely ready for Christmas apart from a bit of cleaning that needs doing. We are spending Christmas day at home with our eldest son and then the whole family are driving to Lincolnshire on Boxing day to spend a few days with my parents which I am really looking forward to.

As promised I am popping in today to share what I have made the boys this year. It took quite a bit of time as I have made them one each, but I'm quite pleased with how they have turned out. Sorry in advance, but this post is picture heavy.

The poinsettia has been placed on top of some natural fibre and I've added some snowballs, fir cones and fir branches.

The card was painted with Serene Chalky Paint and then I had a happy accident. I wanted to use Crackle paint, but picked up the wrong pot and covered the paint with stickles. So I painted the crackle paint over the top and I really like the effect, unfortunately the photo doesn't show the texture up very well. The edges have been painted with white Gesso.

The snowflakes and Reindeer dies are by Noor Design. The snowflakes have had Frantage  sprinkled over them and the Reindeer have had a little Gesso painted on them.

I've just added some pom, pom trim here.

The sleigh is now filled with chocolates.

I hope you like it.

Well that just leaves me to wish you all a Merry Christmas, I hope you have a wonderful time and Santa brings you what you wished for.

I would also like to say a big thank you for all your lovely comments this year, they always make my day.

Take care.

Hugs

Some wonderful news

Morning everyone,

Are you all ready for Christmas? I think we are almost done now, I can't believe how organised we are this year, but it feels good. I am still getting over my cold, it's almost gone now, just got to get rid of my cough.

I am actually here to share some very, very exciting news which I've had had to keep secret for a few days and I've been bursting to tell, that I am incredibly lucky and honored to be the newest member of the Noor Design DT yay!!! As you all know I absolutely adore their products, so this is a big early Christmas present to me. I would like to say a huge thank you to Tracy for giving me this opportunity.

Anyway on to my first card. I have coloured up a Saturated Canary image called Glass Slipper and coloured her with Copics and added a few highlights with Prisma Pencils. The beautiful lace, ribbon and pearls are from the Ribbon Girl.

She has been  mounted onto a pretty Noor Design Oval Die

Peeping out from the top is a Noor Design  Embossing Round Die No.4

the sentiment is from the Noor text Bingo stamp

Tucked underneath the ribbon is a Noor Design Film Strip die

The leaves are cut from the Vintage Flourishes Leaf die

The little oval comes with the Noor Design Oval die.

All the products can be found in Tracy's Noor Design UK shop, and she posts world wide. Links to the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

I hope you have a lovely week, I have just 3 and a half days left of school and then it's the holidays!!

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.

Morning everyone,

Did you have a good weekend? I really enjoyed mine, but gosh it went so fast and now I am going down with the lurgy, I fell quite rough as I type this. Well this is my last full week at school for this year and I am so looking forward to breaking up.

Today I am sharing my reminder card for our current challenge over at  Paradise of Stamps which is 'Christmas'.

I have coloured up this lovely LOTV stamp, 'A Little Prayer' again, but this time coloured her in brown tones. Some Glamour Dust has been added to her wings and for the lying snow. I have cut the lovey Noor Design Icicle dies onto brown card and sprinkled with Shabby Chic White frantage and added some ivory flat back peals to the centres.  The leaves have been cut with green card and once again I have added some White frantage. The hessian ribbon, pom, pom trim, heart button, jingle bells and pearls are from The Ribbon Girl. The lace, flowers, fir cones, berries, moss and flower sprays are from my stash.

Christmas Candle Tilda

Hi everyone,

I hope you had a good week and are having a lovely weekend! The Christmas tree is up and we are almost ready for the big day, just the wrapping left to do. Last year was so stressful that I was determined to be organised this year. I have been making Christmas cards for months now and never tire of making them, in fact I think I will miss it lol. We have been looking after Kyra this weekend and it has been so much fun. I can't believe she is already 6 months old and growing so fast.

Today is our last challenge of the year for Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia, but we will back in the new year.  Our challenge this time is of course 'Christmas'.

I have coloured up the very beautiful Christmas Candle Tilda in non traditional colours using Copics and Prisma pencils. She has been mounted onto a Noor Design Oval die. Tucked behind the image I've placed some white corrugated card which I've sprinkled some Pink Shabby Chic Frantage over and tucked a paper doily behind it. The snowflake banner is a La La Land die and I've covered it with oodles of Glamour Dust. The corner I have made from Air Dry Clay using a silicone mould which I bought from Etsy and has been painted with Gesso. The pink pearl string is from my stash. The branches are also a Noor Design die, they aren't currently in Tracy's shop, but I know she will order it for you if you want it.  The flowers are from my stash and I've sprinkled some Twinklets (Diamond Dust) over them, I love this effect. I painted the fir cones with Gesso and the snowballs I bought from a Craft fair, I think It was from Anna Marie crafts. The lace and Silky Crush ribbon are from the Ribbon Girl.

Copics list:
Skin: E11, 21, 00, 000, 0000, R21

Boots: E44, 43, 42, 40
