New Anything Goes Challenge at Creative Inspirations

 Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well.

We have a new challenge beginning at Creative Inspirations today and the theme is....

Anything Goes

The Paper Shelter are sponsoring us this month and the DT were very lucky to be given an image to play with.

Have you started your christmas cards yet? Mine are well under way, which takes some of the pressure off.

This fun snowman is called A Cheerful Snowman and she is so easy and quick to make a card with.

I have coloured her with distress reinkers. To create the dots on her hat and jacket, I dotted on some pebeo gum and left to dry before starting colouring. Once I had finished colouring I just rubbed away the gum. I have sprinkled some shabby white frantage around and over the image for the falling snow. For the ground covered snow I sprinkled on some glamour dust on top of some cosmic shimmer glue.

Along the top of the card is a Joy Crafts icicle border die which I have covered with twinklets diamond dust. The snowflake has been cut from a John Next Door set of dies and the sledge (Joy Crafts die) again have been covered in diamond dust.

The foliage are a mixture of a Creative Expression evergreen branches and John Next Door Lesley's Twigs.

To finish off I added some flowers from my stash, lace, ribbon, pom pom trim and a couple of silver mitten charms. I think the diamond dust gives the flowers a lovely frosty look.

The winner will receive THREE images of their choice

That's all from me today.

Brand New challenge At Creative Inspirations

 Hi everyone,

Wow, here we are in September already, this year is flying by. I returned to school yesterday although some of the students don't come back until tomorrow. There is always so much to do at the beginning of term and of course we have to ensure that all the measures are in place to keep everyone safe.

I have had a bit of time away from crafting as my mojo left me, and on top of that I injured my leg which meant I could do nothing other than sit with my leg elevated for three weeks.

So today we have a brand new challenge beginning at Creative Inspirations and the theme for this month is.......

Spots and Dots or Inky splats!

Polkadoodles are sponsoring us this month so I have coloured up one of their images called  'Ruby Hey There' and I have coloured her with distress reinkers.

 Hi everyone,

I hope you had a fantastic weekend and enjoyed the sunshine, it was a bit too hot for me.

Today we begin a new 'Anything Goes' challenge at Ally's Angels.

For my card this month, I have created a criss cross card, I am really enjoying making this style at the moment. The cute stamp is by Whimsy called 'Polly' which I have coloured with distress reinkers.

The papers I used are a mixture of Pion and Maja.

The swirl die is by Magnolia and the banner die is a Joy Crafts die.

The insert pulls out and I have made an envelope with my mini envelope punch board using some maja paper and then made a little insert to fit inside the envelope, stamped a sentiment and embossed it with gold embossing powder.

Ali is offering the following fabulous prize to the winner of the challenge:

Hi everyone,

I hope you had a good weekend. We had such gorgeous weather. After a pretty cloudy week,  the sun decided to made an appearance:)

Today I am popping in to share some more Polkadoodles inspiration.

On my card this time, I have coloured up a very beautiful digis from the Sunshine Delights collection. called Winnie Busy.

Sunshine Delight Busy - Winnie Sunshine Delights digi scrap printable download

I printed Winne onto some Artistico watercolour paper and cut the square out with one of the Posydoodle Square dies.

Dress: Speckled Egg, 075 (Zig)
Shoes: 075 (Zig)
Bags: Speckld Egg, Victorian Velvet, 075 (Zig)

I was so excited when Nikky announced she had the new speckled egg distress ink in stock which is the latest colour to be released by Tim Holtz. It is absolutely gorgeous.

Speckled Egg Distress Reinker - Tim Holtz. Re-Inkers can be used to re-ink Distress Ink Pads, which are sold separately. Is your inkpad going dry? Simply drip new ink onto the pad to reinvigorate it again. Eco friendly. You can also use reinkers to colour - just use a paintbrush with the ink! The papers I have used on my card are from the Eden Plain Jane 1 set of digis papers.

There is a  removeable tag tucked behind the image. The tag has been cut from one of the Posydoodles Basic tag dies. I covered it with scraps that were left over from the shape of the card and stamped the sentiment from the Super Sentiments set of stamps. I wanted to give the card a bit of height so cut the gorgeous oval trellis die, cut it in half and tucked it between the card and paper.

I have also used another of the Posydoodle Tag dies and the Super Sentiment stamps to create the sentiment below.

I've cut the Super Sprigs die in white card and tucked them underneath the flowers, I think they look so pretty.

I hope you like my little piece of inspiration.

Wonderful Time Christmas Easel Card

Good morning everyone,

The sunshine is back! I hope you are all well.

Have you started making your Christmas cards? As it's my turn to share  Polkadoodles inspiration, and it was a wet and cold June day, I was just in the mood to create a Christmas card.

Links the products I have used are below each picture of my card, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

This lovely stamp is called 'Wonderful Time' from the Winnie Winter Wishes collection.

I just adore this stamp, it is so much fun to colour.

Wonderful Time - Winnie Winter Wishes - CLEAR POLYMER STAMP

I have used a mixture of distress reinkers and Zig water colour pens to colour the image.

Distress Reinkers:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Coat, Boots and Hat: Weathered Wood

Zig Pens:
Snowmen, Sledge: 091 (Light Grey), 902 ( Natural Grey)

To create the white dots on her coat I dotted on some Pebeo drawing gum, which needs to dry before starting to colour. Once you have finished, it just rubs away.

To create the falling snow, I sprinkled on some white shabby chic frantage and heat set it from underneath.

The sumptious blue papers are from the Winnie White Christmas papers 4 set of digis downloads. What is great about this set of papers is that they can be used all year round.

These Christmas trees are just divine. They come in a set of three dies. I cut two, covered them in glue and sprinkled some Twinklet Diamond Dust to give them gorgeous frosty sparkle.
