Tilda Enjoying Summer

Hi everyone,

So in the first week of the holidays I have been cleaning like a trooper. Once the big clean has been done, then the rest of the holiday will be mine to do exactly what I want to do plus  a trip up to stay with my parents and I'm off to Whitby to meet up with a crafty friend.😊

I thought I would share a card I made recently just for fun.

I stamped up an older Maggie called Tilda Enjoying Summer and coloured her with DI reinkers.

Just peeping out of the top of the card is a Joy border die.

The leaves which are also Joy Craft dies have been cut in white and grey card. The flowers and gathered lace are from my stash, but the pearl trim and lace (lace bow) are from  the Ribbon Girl.

I cut a few of the pearls off of the pearl trim and added them to the top of the roses.

The white wooden fence was a gift and the sentiment is from a Whimsy set of stamps.

The tag on the base of the card has also been cut from a Joy Crafts die.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dungarees: Pumice Stone, Black Soot
Top and Shoes: Victorian Velvet

Well that's it from me today.

Thank you for popping in,

Good morning to you all,

I am just popping in to share I card I have made for the new challenge at Fussy and Fancy and the theme this time round is:

'Celebration'

I have coloured up one of my favourite LOTV stamps called 'Annabel Texting', I think this image is perfect for a teenager.

I have coloured her with DI reinkers and added a sprinkle of frantage around the outside of the image.

The papers are by Maja from the Summer Basics collection  and are called 1923.

The fabulous butterfly corner by Joy Crafts is making an appearance again, it cuts so beautifully and is just perfect to slip under a layer. The leaves and butterflies are also cut from Joy dies.

I cut the banner shape with a Joy Crafts Banner die onto some coordinating paper and stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Best Wishes English  Banner Text stamp with Versamark ink and sprinkled some white embossing powder over, heat set it and added a couple of pearl gems.

The lace, phone charm and flowers are from my stash.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dungarees: Pumice Stone
Jumper: Old Paper, Victorian Velvet
Phone: Victorian Velvet, Old Paper
Boots: Victorian Velvet

The winner of the challenge will join us as a GDT in an upcoming challenge.

I am so sorry that the links to the materials I have used are not at the bottom of this post, but Inlinkz have moved to LinkDeli and I am having a few teething problems which I hope to have sorted very soon.

That's it from me today.

New Card Challenge at the Ribbon Girl - Summer Wedding Tilda

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and the sun is shining for you.

Today is the start of the card challenge at the Ribbon Girl. As always the theme is 'Anything Goes' as long as it is a card, any shape, with or without an image.

I opted to make a shaker card as the Ribbon Girl are now selling some beautiful shaker selections.

The pretty papers are by Lemoncraft called Tiny Miracles, and as you can see are very versatile.

I made the shaker element using a small circular spellbinder die and placed the gorgeous doily chipboard shape over the top and added some pearl string around the centre.

The aqua and pink flowers are ballerina blossoms and are absolutely gorgeous. I tucked some pale pink smooth berries and beaded stamens just underneath the blossoms.

The two tags have been cut in the same paper and I've added some lace bows.

Along the bottom I have placed some gathered frilled tulle trim and added some double row pearl trim along the top.

The double bow is made from tulip pink seam binding finishing off with a pink crystal and diamante embellishment.

The image is a Magnolia stamp called Summer Wedding Tilda which I have coloured with DI reinkers.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress and Boots: Victorian Velvet
Flowers: Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky, Bundled Sage, Shabby Shutters

We have three fabulous sponsors for this challenge:
