New Challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting - Robin Stocking Friends

Good morning everyone,

Sorry I've been missing in action, wow it's nearly two weeks since I last posted. Time has just run away with me.

Today we have a new challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting. As always its an 'Anything Goes' challenge for all you wonderful crafters, but the DT were challenged to make a creation to the theme 'Match It'.

I'm not very good at thinking outside of the box so I went for something easy, a card and co-ordintaing tag.

The gorgeous image is from the Winnie White Christmas collection called' Robin Stocking Friends'. You can buy the image in black and white, pre-coloured or as part of the Big Kahuna set (where you get both).  I have coloured up the black and white image with DI reinkers and added some glamour dust to the fur on her hat and pom pom.

The papers and sentiment are also from the Winnie White Christmas Big Kahuna collection. The lace, jingle bells, pearl trim and fir cones are from the Ribbon Girl

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo. Tattered Rose,Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Hat  and Boots: Barn Door, Aged Mahogany, Black Soot
Scarf: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters
Robin: Hickory Smoke, Aged Mahogany, Barn Door, Black Soot
Stockings: Barn Door, Aged Mahogany, Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters

To create the white dots on her dress, I dotted on some Pebeo drawing gum and let it dry overnight before colouring. I rubbed it away once I had finished colouring.

For the tag, I printed off the stocking and heart from the embellishments section of the Winnie White Christmas Big Kahuna, tucked a couple of icy crystals which have been sprinkled with twinklets and added a pearl to the centre and some lace underneath. I've placed a smaller tag under the stocking and added a few pearl gems to the top of the stocking.

There are wonderful prizes up for grabs. The winner will win a $10 voucher to spend in the download store and each of the top 3 chosen by the DT will win a free digi stamp voucher to use in the store.

Links to the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post, just lick on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

That's all from me today.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Thank you for popping in.
