Magnolia 'Tilda Binding Flowers'

Good morning my lovelies,

I hope you are all well on this beautiful morning and that the sun is shining wherever you are!

Today I am sharing an easel card featuring one of the lovely new Tilda’s called ‘Tilda Binding Flowers’, a real beauty isn’t she? She has been coloured with Copics and a few highlights have been added with Prisma Pencils. I have gone a bit mad with the frantage again sprinkling it around the image, on the corner and swirl dies. Tucked in behind the image is a joy die which I have also added a touch of frantage.

Copics I used:
Skin: E21, E00, E000, E93
Hair: E57, E43, E53, E50
Blouse & Flowers: R21, R30, R00, R000
Dress & Shoes: E43, E42, E41, E40
Leaves: YG99, YG95, YG93, YG91

Pencils: Warm Grey 70%, Peach, Burnt Ochre, Dark Umber, Black

Thank you for visiting me and I hope you all have  a lovely relaxing Sunday!

New Challenge Marvelous Magnolia

Hello my lovelies,

It’s time for a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia and this time the theme is ‘Shabby Chic’. We have two  lovely sponsors this week Crimson Cloud and Magnolia-licious.

Well this one certainly proved to be a challenge for me as I have not made a shabby chic themed card before and even though I did a bit of research I still couldn’t get my head around what I needed to do! After a lot of head scratching I decided to ink up and old Magnolia stamp called ‘ Shy Tilda Waiting Dotted Dress’, even though she is fairly old I still like her. I coloured her in grey tones to make it look like a black and white photograph and made some plain photo corners which I covered with white frantage.

Copics I used:
Skin: T4, T2, T0
Hair: T10, T8, T4, T2, T0
Dress: T6, T4, T2, T0

 Pencil: Black

If you have the time it would be lovely if you could pop over and look at my fabulous teamies creations and even better if you join us in the challenge.

I would like to say a massive thank you for all your lovely comments you leave me and that I really appreciate your kind words, you are all such lovely people!.

Hugs

Magnolia 'Watercan Tilda'

Hello my lovelies,

What a gorgeous day it is, Phil and I went for a lovely walk after work today as we are both trying to shed a few pounds before our holiday and we are very lucky to have a beautiful park just across the road from where we live.

Today I am posting card I made last week! I am not overly happy with it, I am quite critical of my work and like everything to be perfect (not that, that happens very often lol), although I am having a right downer on my crafting at the moment, which I am finding really frustrating as I love to craft! Now I’m waffling, so onto the card!!

This stamp is called Watercan Tilda from the Sweet Rainbow collection. As I colour a lot of pink, I thought I would have a change and go for more of a burgundy colour, which has worked out O.K., but I am not sure about my colouring, I just couldn't get it right, this was my second attempt as the first one went in the bin! I have used Copics and Prisma Pencils to colour her with. The papers are from Raspberry Road and the ribbon, flowers and lace are from my stash.

 Copics I used:
Skin: E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E37, E35, E31
Dress: R89, R85, R83, E43, E42, E41, E40
Shoes: E43, E42, E41, E40
Watercan: C5, C3, C1, C0

Pencils: Black, Dark Umber, Burnt Ochre

Take care and thank you for visiting me!
