It's Party Time...

Hi everyone,

Just popping in with this week's inspirational creation for the Noor Design UK blog.

Today I am showcasing the Dutch Doobadoo Present and Pie set. The links to the materials I've used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

The box has been made using the Dutch Doobadoo Pie stencil, which is so easy to put together, along the edge I've use some of the stars from the Paper Garlands Paper Art and the edges have been painted with the  Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste. On the top I have decorated with flowers, pearls, natural fibers  and I've added a couple of leaves using the 0046 Vintage Flourishes Leaf die.

I have used the new Dutch Doobadoo present set for the shape of the card and used some of the papers from the new Let's Party paper pad, which has been edged with Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste. Underneath the bow I have added a couple of the 0047 Vintage Flourishes leaves.

This little sweetie is called Let's Party Girl in Hat and I've placed her on the Frame and Three Corners die.

Along the edge and in the centre I have used the Paper Art Paper Garlands.

The leaves have been cut from the 0047 Vintage Flourishes Leaf die.

Here I have glittered a couple of the Cardboard Art balloons.

And last but not least I cut the Banner Die and added the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment from the Best Wishes English text stamp.

Thank you for popping in.

Divine Tilda

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and had a nice relaxing time. I had a nice week off, but it's back to work for me today.

Today we have a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia  and the theme is 'Bling it up'.

I have coloured up Divine Tilda using DI marker pens. On the edge of the image is a gorgeous crystal flourish. Tucked behind the image is some cheese cloth and the gorgeous Noor Design Sending Love Heart and Love Heart with Wings die, which has been edged with Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste and I've added a clear heart button to the centre of the wings.  On the right hand side is a postcard from the Reprint Vintage postcards set, again this has been edged with the structure paste. On the bottom right hand is one of the wooden fences from the Dutch Doobadoo Fence set which has been painted with structure paste to give some texture and sprinkled with pink frantage and I've added a few clear gems to bling it up. The lace, crystal flourish and ribbon (sadly the RG seem to be out of stock of this one at the moment) are both from the Ribbon Girl. In the centre of the bow is a very blingy rhinestone sparkler.

DI markers list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress: Walnut Stain,
Boots: Gathered Twigs
Bow: Aged Mahogany, Spun Sugar

Our lovely sponsor this time round is the wonderful Ribbon Girl. You could be in with a chance of winning:

To spend in their lovely on line shop.

Thank you for popping in and big crafty wave to my followers, thank you for following me.

Tilda with Big Big Rose

Hi everyone,

I hope you've had a lovely week, I must say I have, I love having time off this time of year as I don't feel guilty about spending time in my craft room. I did have a bad crafting day on Tuesday, it just wasn't happening for me and all my makes went in the bin, I guess we all have days like that, but I wasn't  a happy bunny.  I have got some cards made, but not as many as I'd hoped for.

Anyway this is a card I made just for fun using the the lovely Tilda with Big, Big Rose. One of the tasks I set myself  this week was to try to improve my DI colouring, I think there is a small improvement, but I keep telling myself it takes time. Peeping out from the top of the card is the very lovely Noor Design Circle die 2, which has been sprinkled with pink frantage. Just underneath that is the Tim Holtz Torn Notebook die which has been edged with Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste.  The papers are by Maja, I love pink and grey together. The butterflies and leaves are both Noor Design dies. The ribbon is from my stash and the cute clay heart is from LLC which I have covered with pink frantage. The ribbon and flowers are from my stash, but the lovely Eyelash Guipure lace is from the Ribbon Girl

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress: Pumice Stone
Rose/Pocket: Aged Mahogany, Spun Sugar
Leaves: Forest Green, Peeled Paint

I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Thank you for popping in.

Take Care.

Something Sweet

Morning everyone,

I'm popping in to share my inspirational post for Noor Design UK.

This week I've made a card using the Dutch Doobadoo Art Cupcake stencil and the Let's Party Girl stamp.

The papers are from the Let's Party and Spring paper pads.

To make the shape of the cupcake I cut around the Dutch Doobadoo Card Art Cupcake stencil, covered it with some of the papers from the Let's Party paper pad and edged it with the Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste.  I covered the base of the card with papers from the Spring paper pad.

I have coloured up one of the delicious new stamps, Let's Party Girl with Lollipop, coloured her with Copics and added a few highlights with Prisma pencils.

Here I have used the Label and Tag cutting die (4 pcs) to make the banner and stamped the word 'sweet' using the Typewriter Keys stamp.

On the base of the card I have used my favourite  Noor Design Tag die No. 2

Copics list:
Skin: E11, 21, 00, 000,000, R21
Hair: E44, 43, 40, W00
Skirt/Bow: R89, 85, 83, 81, RV10
Top/Lollipop: BG78, 75, 72, 70
Shoes: C5, 3, 1, 0

Pencils:
Tuscan Red, Aqua Marine, 70% Warm Grey, dark Umber, Light Umber.

I hope you like my card.

Thank you for popping in.

Hi everyone,

I am back with a card for the new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia Our challenge this time is one of my favourites 'Pearls and Lace'.

Peeping out on the right hand side is a Marianne die which is part of the Petra's corners set. On the left is a paper doily and I've cut two of the smaller banner die from Noor Design in the papers and added a little lace. The beautiful garden gate is also  a Noor Design die. The lace, ribbon, pearl string, pearl square trim, flowers and beautiful diamante pearl embellishment are from the Ribbon Girl.

DI Markers colour list:
