New Challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia - Bohemian Peony Tilda

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you are having a great weekend and are able to do get some crafting in. Well the craft fair was brilliant, I think it is my favourite as the aisles are wide, you can get to see what is on each stand and  you don't get the pushing an shoving, that you get at other craft shows. I am chuffed to bit as I came away with some gorgeous goodies.

I won't ramble on on today as we have a new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia and our challenge is an easy peasy one:

'Add some flowers'.
(this can be in the format of paper flowers, floral backing paper, die cuts flowers)

I have coloured up 'Bohemian Peony Tilda' with DI reinkers. Some white frantage has been added around the image and I've hand stitched the outside of the oval.  All the dies I've cut are Joy dies from Noor Design U.K.. The beautiful embellishments are from the Ribbon Girls the materials are listed at the bottom of this post, just click on an image to take you directly to the product.

DI list:

New challenge - Fussy & Fancy - Shabby Bingo Fun

Good morning everyone,

I hope you have all had a great week and yay, it’s Friday; I am off to the Making It craft show tomorrow, which is very exciting!

A warm welcome to my new followers, thank you so much for following me.

It’s not my turn to post, but today I am joining in with the lovely team A ladies as we have a new challenge starting today at Fussy and Fancy. The wonderful Judy is hosting this challenge and she has chosen ‘Shabby Bingo Fun’.

The requirements are simple.
1.  Go for either one full line (that is using items selected vertical, horizontal or diagonally) or better still go for full house.  The chart is made it so that full house will be quite easy and enjoyable to do.

Those entrants who go for full house are asked to leave a comment on the post on Judy's blog at here telling her you have gone for full house.  She will then pop the names from the full house comments on her Blog into a hat and the lucky winner will win a little bit of something which she will donate.

2.  Each entrant is asked to tell us what line they have gone for, and what they have used to qualify please.

3.  Most of all just have fun and let your creativity run away with you.

This is the card I made for the challenge using an adorable image from a Candibean stamp called Izzy's Stroll. I have coloured her using DI reinkers.

I have gone for a full house so here is what I've used:

Fussy and Fancy - My cards are always Fussy and Fancy
Distressing - I have distressed the edges of the papers
Die Cuts-  I've used butterflies, tag, tassels and border dies
Sparking Mist - There is glitter in the bottle
Old - The flowers which have had Structure paste painted on, and most of my dies are old
New - The tassels die and lace flower is new
Frills/Lace - I had added some gorgeous lace
Pearls - There is a string of pearl flowers down the left hand side and some in the centre of the butterfly.
Dreamy - I've used dreamy pastel papers and colours
Texture - I have painted on Structure Paste around the outside of the image and placed Cheesecloth under the image and the border dies are embossed.
Romantic - I have placed a silver heart charm at the base of the flowers.
A Pair - I've used two bows.
Vintage/Cute - The image is cute.
Ribbon/Bows -  I have added two.
Shaped or Square - It is a shaped card.
Anything Goes - speaks for itself

Where possible I have put the links to the materials I have used at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

Tailor Tilda - Mother's Day card

Hi everyone,

I hope your week is off to a good start.

I'm just popping in to share a card I made for fun a little while ago.

I've been delving into my Magnolia stamp box and realised I haven't coloured up Tailor Tilda for a long time, and thought she would be great to make a  Mother's Day card with.

The shape of the card has been made using a Spellbinders Majestic die.

I have used DI reinkers to colour her and sprinkled a small amount of frantage around the outside of the image, and to finish it off I added some pearl string.

The papers are from Pion from the Alma's Sewing Room collection

The lace, ribbon, flowers, buttons and charms are from my stash.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress: Weathered Wood,
Sewing Machine, Hickory Smoke
Material: Grand Espresso, Old Paper

That's it from me today.

Take care and thank you for popping in.

Divine Tilda

Hi everyone,

Well I have had the most wonderful week and I feel totally relaxed. I decided I was going to have a 'me' week, so no extra cleaning which I normally do in the holidays. The weather has been kind so I've had some lovely walks in the winter sunshine and spent some time crafting as well as meeting Mike my eldest son for lunch yesterday, what more could I ask for?

I made this card a little while ago, using Divine Tilda. I have coloured her using DI reinkers and added a few touches with Inktense pencils.

All the dies used  on this card are from Noor Design U.K. The pretty spot organza ribbon and guipure lace are from the Ribbon Girls

The flowers and pearl string are from my stash. Links to the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

DI colour list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress and Bow: Weathered Wood
Shoes: Hickory Smoke

That's it from me today, have a wonderful weekend and thank you for popping in.

Inspirational card - Ribbon Girl

Good morning everyone,

I hope you all had a great weekend and a lovely valentines day.Today is the first day of half term yay! I am off to take my car for it's M.O.T. this morning, fingers crossed that it passes!

I am popping in to share my inspirational card for the Ribbon Girl.

I have coloured up Tilda with Spitz Pocket using DI reinkers, I have listed the colours I've used underneath the photo. I have added some Star Dust Stickles to her socks. Unfortunately you can't see the papers very well, but they are gorgeous shade of green. The clock is cut from a Cheery Lynn die, the swirl is a Magnolia Doohickey die and the leaves and tag are a Joy dies.

All the beautiful embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl. The ribbon (Ivory Sugar Sprinkles Sheer) is new to the shop and it is lovely to work with and produces fabulous bows. Links to the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters, Gathered Twigs
Shoes: Gathered Twigs.

Well that's it from me today.

Have a lovely day.

Thank you for popping in.
