New Challenge at Polkdoodles Crafting - Flower Girl

Good morning everyone,

Happy Easter Friday, I hope you all have a lovely day whatever you are doing.

Today we begin a new challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting. The DT were tasked with making a card using an animal image, spring colours and to use a tag. For all you lovely crafters as always its an 'Anything Goes challenge.

I have coloured up an image from the Helga Hippo collection called Flower Girl, she is so cute.  I painted her with distress reinkers.

The papers are from the Octavia Moonfly paperholic collection.

There is a tag peeping out on the right hand side and also on the base of the card.

The border on the left hand side is a Joy Crafts die.

Everything else is from my craft stash.

DI list:
Skin: Hickory Smoke, Picked Raspberry, Black Soot
Dress and Hat: Bundled Sage, Black Soot
Bow: Victorian Velvet, Picked Raspberry
Flowers: Victorian Velvet, Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters

The lucky winner of the challenge will win a $10 gift voucher to the store and each of the top 3 favourites picked by the DT will win a free digi stamp voucher for the store. Don't forget you don't have to use a Polkadoodles image to enter the challenge.

That's all from me today.

Have a fantastic Easter weekend, the weather is forecast to be gorgeous here in the south of the U.K, I hope it is where you are.

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.

Hugs

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a good week so far.

Today we have a new challenge beginning at Ally's Angels this evening.

As always the challenge is.....

Anything Goes

For my card I have coloured up Divine Tilda and masked her with Shabby chic fence, both are old stamps.

The shape of the card has been cut with a Go Kreate Flower Frame die. The papers are from a 12 x 12 paper pad called Garden Blooms by Anna Marie Designs.

The leaves have been cut from a Joy Crafts die, the fence from a Magnolia Doohuickeys die and the lovely view die cut is a LDRS die.

I have painted the scene with distress reinkers.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen, Black Soot
Dress: Victorian Velvet, Hickory Smoke
Fence: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot
Grace & Leaves: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters

New Challenge at Creative Inspirations - Tilda with Hanging Rabbit

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all well. Once again I have been a  bad blogger - sorry.

Today I am popping in to share a card for the new challenge at Creative Inspirations. Our theme this time is ....

Easter Wishes or Animals

My card would probably fit into either category. I chose to colour up and old Maggie called Tilda with Hanging Rabbit and have coloured her with distress ink reinkers.

I have used an assortment of dies for this card. The two border dies are by Joy Crafts, the tassel is a Marianne die, the corner is a Robert Addams die and the leaves are a Scrap Man die.

The flowers, ribbon, lace and pearls are from my crafty stash.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain, Black Soot
Dress and Boots: Victorian Velvet, Hickory Smoke
Rabbit: Hickory Smoke, Worn Lipstick, Black Soot
Grass: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters

Natalie has put together a gorgeous bunch of crafty goodies for the winner of this challenge, we would love you to join us:
