Some Christmas Polkadoodles Inspiration

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all well and had a lovely week.

Today I am popping in to share an inspirational Christmas card for Polkadoodles.

This is one of the brand new delicious Christmas stamps, isn't it gorgeous? This stamp is available in your favourite crafts stores, but will be available in the Polkadoodles shop very soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

The links to the Polkadoodles products are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

I stamped the image with a Stazon Timber Brown ink pad onto water colour card and cut the square out with Posydoodles square die.

The image has been coloured with distress re-inkers which is my favourite medium to use. Around the outside of the image I've sprinkled some pink frantage and also added in a little white.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain
Coat, Hat and Scarf: Victorian Velvet
Scarf, Hat and Boots: Weathered Wood
Tights: Victorian Velvet, Weathered Wood
Snowman and Rabbit: Hickory Smoke, Worn Lipstick
Sledge: Hickory Smoke

The beautiful papers are from the Peeling Paint paper pad which I've edged with white gesso.

I love these spruce dies, they cut so beautifully. I've sprinkled on some Twinklets to give them a lovely icy look.

To create the silver text, I used some silver embossing powder. The sentiment comes with the stamp and I've used some coorindating paper and again edged it with white gesso. The shape of it was cut from one of the tags from the Posydoodles Tags die.

New Challenge at Ally's Angels

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you are all well.

This evening a new 'Anything Goes' challenge begins at Ally's Angels.

For my card this month, I have made a shaker card. I chose to colour up Tilda with Hellebores and have coloured her with distress reinkers.

The pretty frame is a Sue Wilson die which I embossed with a polka dot embossing folder and I've added some iridescent sequins for the shaker element. The pretty border die above it is a Joy Crafts die.

All the embellishments are from my crafty stash.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Walnut Stain
Dress and Shoes: Gathered Twigs, Black Soot
Hellebore Flowers: Victorian Velvet, Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters

Ally is offering the fabulous stamp and die set below to the lucky winner:

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

New Challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting

Good morning everyone,

WOW it's Friday already, this week has flown by, but Happy Friday to you all.

We have a new challenge beginning at Polkadoodles Crafting today. For all you lovely crafters, it's an 'Anything Goes' challenge, but the team were given the challenge of 'Thinking of You'.

I made another tent card, just in case you were getting bored with easel cards lol.

I chose to colour up the very sweet 'Pocketfuls of Love' image which I have painted with distress reinkers (the colours I used are listed below the second pic). I love blue and brown together, I think they compliment each other well.  She is available as a black and white image or if colouring is not your thing or you just need to make a quick card then she is also available pre-coloured.

The scrumptious papers are from a collection called Nikky Digital Stamp Download, you also receive a free image with this collection.

Behind the image is a hidden tag. I printed the 'Thinking of You' sentiment  which is a freebie from the store and used a circle die to cut it out.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress: Gathered Twigs, Black Soot
Hearts: Weathered Wood
Eyes: Stormy Sky
Tights: Weathered Wood, Antique Linen

Links to the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

Nikky is offering some fab prizes to the winners of the challenge:
Winner: $10 gift voucher to spend in the download store.
and the
Top 3 chosen by the DT: All receive a free digi stamp voucher of their choice.

Don't forget you can use any products you want to enter the challenge, they don't have to be Polkadoodles products.

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Have a lovely crafty weekend.

Hugs
