We are also having a DT call which the existing DT are also entering if they would like to continue,  so if you would like to enter just put DT after your name when you  post your creation.

We have three sponsors this week:

Welcome to the Ribbon Girl - to help your craft budget go further we always sell our buttons, flowers, diamantes, pearls, flatbacks, crystal stems, charms and embellishments in small quantities so you can mix and match with more choice! Seam binding is sold in 5 metre bundles. Divine Bakers Twine and button twine in 10 metre bundles. All of our beautiful ribbon and lace is sold by the metre and when you need more than one, we supply in a continuous length whenever possible.

The gorgeous frame I made using a Martha Stewart Silicone Mould and Air Dry Clay. The papers are by Maja. The leaves are cut from a Cheery Lynn die and the branch is a Marianne die. All the flowers, lace, ribbon and pretty embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl. For a full list of the materials used, please click on the picture below which will take you directly to the item.

New Challenge LHOSM - Anything Goes

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend and aren’t affected by the horrendous rain and flooding we are having in the U.K.

We have our first challenge of the year at LHOSM and it’s an easy and popular theme of Anything Goes. Our wonderful sponsor this time is the Ribbon Girls, you could win a fantastic £10 voucher to spend in their lovely shop.

I thought New Year Sakura Tilda (another Christmas pressie for me) would fit the bill nicely, although I think she could easily be used throughout the year. She has been coloured using Copics and a few highlights added with Prisma Pencils. I haven’t made an easel card for a while, so I cut the card shape using a Go Kreate die (Large Frame Flower #1) and used Maja papers to cover it. The gorgeous Branches and Bird Cage are Joy dies. The leaves are a Cheery Lynn die and last but not least the tag is a Magnolia DooHickey die. The corners are made from a Silicone mould using Martha Stewart Air Drying Clay.  The lace, ribbon and flowers are from my stash.

Copics I used:

Skin: E21, 00,000
Hair: E44, 42, 41, 40, 50, 000
Clothes: R59, 56, RV34, 32
Shoes: E43, 42, 41, 40
Flowers: R85, 83, RV000, BG99, 96, 93

Pencils: Black, Tuscan Red, Burnt Ochre, Dark Umber

If you get a chance pop over and take a peek at my teamies creations, they are gorgeous!

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and thank you for popping in.

Hugs

'Winter Rose' Card

Good morning my lovelies,

I hope you have had a good start to the New Year, only 3 days left until I return to work,  but I don’t seem to have had an extra crafting time ( I will regret that next week).

Anyway on with the card, I wanted to use an image I haven’t stamped up in a while and came across this beauty called ‘Winter Rose’ and once again coloured it with Copics in grey tones.  The little corners I made from Martha Stewart Air Dry Clay and a silicone mould I received for Christmas which I adore. Around the outside of the image I have rolled some cheesecloth. Peeping out from behind the image and the larger of the leaf dies are cut from Joy dies, the smaller leaves are a Crealies die.  The Roses and Cherry Blossom are from the Ribbon Girl but the White Flower Sprays are from Live & Love Crafts (I am a little bit in love with these at the moment). The Ribbon is White Silky Crush and the lace I bought from Ebay. The Pearl String at the bottom of the card is also from my stash.

Copics I used:
Skin: T6, 4, 2, 0
Hair & Rose: T10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 0

Prisma Pencil: Black

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year everyone,

I hope 2014 brings you much health and happiness.

I would also like to say a big thank you to everyone that has visited my blog and taken the time to leave me comments throughout last year, it means a lot to me and a warm hello to my new followers, sending you a crafty wave!!

I thought I would pop on a card I have made using a gorgeous new Whimsy stamp called Iris, which I got for Christmas. I used Copics to colour her and added just a few highlights with Prisma Pencils. Some Star Dust Stickles has been added to her wings to give a bit of sparkle. I used a Go Create die (Large Frame Frilly #6) to cut the shape of the card and covered it with my favourite papers by Maja. Tucked behind the image is a LOTV background stamp called Vintage Backs (Script). All the luscious embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl (see below for list of materials, click on the image and it will take you straight to the product).

Copics I used:

Skin: E21, 00, 000, R20
Hair: E57, 53, 43, 50
Clothes, Flowers & Wings: E49, 74, 43, 40, R59, 56, RV34, 32
