Sneaky Tilda

Hello everyone,

We have a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia today and this time we would like to see 'Beautiful Butterflies' on your creations.

I have coloured up Sneaky Tilda from the new collection and used Copics and Prisma pencils to colour her. The butterflies are from the 'Once Upon A Time 2013' collection and they have also been coloured with Copics and Prisma pencils. The papers are by Craftstyle. All the beautiful embellishments are from The Ribbon Girl. Just click on the pictures at the bottom of this post and it will take you directly to the product.

Vintage Inspired

Morning my lovelies,

I hope the week has been good for you so far.

This morning I have a little news to share with you. The lovely Kellie from The Rubber Buggy contacted me a while ago to ask me to be on her DT, well I was thrilled to be asked and of course I had to accept (hee hee)!! so thank you so much Kellie for asking me!!

The theme of this months challenge is 'Vintage Inspired'. The lush papers are called A day In May and are by Pion. I've used some Maja paper Vintage Summer Basics 1899 to cut the butterflies using a real favourite on the edge die of mine by Tim Holtz and they have been inked around the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.  Tucked behind the butterflies is a pretty doily. As you all know I love using lace and this beautiful ivory crocheted lace is absolutely scrumptious. All the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture and it will take you directly to the product. 

To enter the challenge just pop over to the challenge blog. You can use any images, papers etc that you have and they don't have to be available at The Rubber Buggy as long as they fit with the challenge theme. The lucky random selected winner will receive a fab

Good morning my lovelies,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Today I am sharing my GDT card for the Bestie's Challenge and the theme is Something Old, Something New. The Bestie image is new and can be purchased here everything else on my card is old.

I am a bit disappointed with how this one has turned out. I had a vision in my head, but it hasn't worked out as I wanted, but I didn't have time to make another one, oh well I guess you can't always get it right. I coloured her with Copics and Prisma pencils. The corners are a Joy Craft die and the flowers are WOC and the lush flower sprays (my favourite at the moment) are from Live and Love crafts. The cute bronze charm is from The Hobby House. The Cheese Cloth and Ivory lace are from the Ribbon Girl and everything else is from my stash.

Tilda with Chanel The Puppy

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you all had a good week. It has been quite a hard one for me as I have had to limit my crafting due to my eyes, and I have so missed it, but good news I collected my new lenses yesterday, so hopefully it will all be back to normal now.

Today we have a new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia and our challenge this time is 'Use a Sentiment'. 

I have stamped up Tilda with Chanel The Puppy and Summer Hill Background from the new collection which I love!!  The scene has been coloured with Copics and  a few highlights have been added with Prisma pencils. I cut the shape using a Go Kreate Large Frame Frilly #6 die. I have also used a Tim Holtz die for the butterflies and the clock face is by Cheery Lynn die. The papers are by Maja. The roses and carnations are from WOC and the gorgeous flower spray  and the beautiful Tulle Lace is from Live and Love Crafts. I don't have many sentiments, but I found this one lurking at the bottom of my stamp box and it is a Magnolia stamp, but I'm not sure which collection it is from. I have wound the sentiment around a cute little cotton reel which is from the Ribbon Girl, but unfortunately I don't think they have any stock left.

Tilda With Peony

Hello everyone,

Sorry I have been missing MIA recently, but I am still suffering from eye strain. I have new glasses on order, annoyingly my last pair only lasted me 8 months.  I also have scarring on my left eye which they are keeping an eye on. So I haven't been able to play as much as I would have liked. Hopefully once I have my new lenses I will be back to normal. 

Anyway enough waffle from me. It's time for a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia. Our challenge this time is 'Newest or Favourite Tilda' so a really nice easy one. I haven't bought any new maggies for a while, although I may have a couple of the new collection on pre-order (hee hee), so I opted for Tilda with Peony, who is one of my favourites. I have coloured her with Copics and Prisma Pencils. Oops I got a bit carried away with the Frantage and sprinkled, I mean poured it over the Tim Holtz die at the top of the card, the butterfly and flourish oh and not forgetting the branch die. I have also used the Magnolia Doohickey So Wrapped So Lovely die top left of the card. The papers are by Maja, but I'm not sure which collection. The flowers are a mixture of WOC and the Hobby House and just to finish it off  I've stuck a couple of pretty pins in. The lace, ribbon and pearls are from my stash.
