Saturated Canary - Casey

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a great week and happy Sunday to you all, I hope you have a lovely relaxing day.

Today we have a new challenge at Paradise of Stamps and this time the theme is 'Monochromatic'.

I coloured up this beautiful SC image (Casey) quite a while ago using DI markers, I really didn't expect this to turn out well so I didn't make a note of the colours, but I am quite pleased with it. A little frantage has been sprinkled around the outside of the image.  The Noor design oval die has been cut twice, I stamped the image onto the white Artitisco extra white colouring paper and cut it using the Noor Design Oval die, I cut it again using the lilac card which has been edged with Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste and cut away the centre. The  papers are from the Romance Paper Pad also by Noor Design. The butterflies are also a Noor Design die which again have been cut twice and edged with Structure paste and a small length of pearl string has been added to the centre.

The gorgeous pearl string, diamante spacer and lilac gem are from the Ribbon Girl.

The prize this time will be a GDT spot.

That's it from me today, take care and enjoy the rest of your day whatever your're doing.

Hugs

For a Special Friend

Hi everyone,

Just popping in this morning with a little inspiration for the Noor Design UK blog.

This week I have used the Dutch Doobadoo Square with Diamond Envelope stencil. Links to the materials I've used are posted at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

The envelope has been covered with papers from the Winter Wonderland paper pad. Along the top I've cut the new Stars Edge die and added a little  Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste.  To give it a nice finishing touch I've added some lace, ribbon and a little bow. Because I have gone to town with it, this would have to be given to the recipient by hand.

The diamond shape in the centre has been sprinkled with blue frantage and edged with Dutch Doobadoo Structure Paste. Underneath I have placed some natural fibre and a couple of snowflakes from the Paper Art Snowflake set and covered them with blue frantage.

The Banner die comes as a set of two different sizes and the English Best Wishes Text stamps fit perfectly onto the dies.

The snowman is from the Paper Art Snowman set and again has been covered with blue frantage.

The little gloves were a perfect embellishment and they are from the Cardboard Art Hats and Gloves set.

For the inside I've made a little wall hanging. Once again I have used the papers from the Winter wonderland paper pad and painted the structure paste around the edges. I  coloured up the sweet Saturated Canary image Nikki  with copics, this is why I thought the gloves would be a perfect embellishment as she has some hanging from her coat. She has been mounted onto a Noor Design 3 Corners die.

The lace is from the Ribbon Girl.

I hope you like my little creation.

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.

Stop in the Name of Love

Hi everyone,

I'm back again as we have a new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia. Our challenge this time is 'Love or Hearts'.

I have stamped up the pretty 'Stop In the Name of Love' Tilda, this is the stamp that I think can be used all year round. I have coloured her with Distress Ink markers and yippee she didn't turn out too bad. I've just bought the die on the left which in a Noor Design die and I love it! The heart underneath the image is a LaLa Land die. The little hearts are from the Dutch Doobadoo Paper Art Hearts set and I've added a sweet pearl beaded heart to the centre. The lace is from the Ribbon Girl

The tag on the base of the card is a Noor Design die.

The Distress Ink markers I used are:
Skin: Vintage Photo and Tattered Rose
Hair: Walnut Stain and Antique Linen.
Dress and Bow: Pumice Stone

Our lovely sponsors for this challenge are the Ribbon Girl. You could win:

to spend in the lovely on line store.

Well that's it from me today. I will try hard to pop in again later in the week.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

New Challenge Noor Design UK - 'Spring'

Good morning everyone,

Happy Sunday to you all. I've a little exciting news to share with you, as you know George has taken Katie to Venice for a few days and they have got engaged!! How exciting is that??

This morning we have a new challenge at Noor Design UK and our theme for this month is 'Spring'.

To make the shape of the card I used the Dutch Doobadoo Flower with Four Petals stencil. The lush papers are from the new Spring Paper Pad.

Around the outside of the card I mixed some Spun Sugar Reinker with the Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste to make a lovely soft  shade of pink.

This is the new Flourishes Leaf die.

I've stamped one of the butterflies from the English Sayings stamp set and coloured it with copics.

This is the new Banner die. The 'Happy Birthday' sentiment is from the 'Best Wishes English Banner Text' stamp set, which I've wound round a cotton reel.

This is the first time I've used the Garden Fence die, it cuts beautifully and looks so pretty.

Instead of using a tag on the base of the card, this time I've opted for the Labels and Tags die. Above and below the tag is the delicious new Stars Edge die.

Copics list:
Skin: E11, 21, 00, 000, 0000, R21
Hair: E44, 43, 40, W00
