Reminder Card for Paradise of Stamps - Wedding

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all having a lovely week!

Today I am showcasing my reminder card for the current challenge at Paradise of Stamps - Wedding.

I have been inspired recently by some of the fabulous shaker cards that are around at the moment, so I thought what a perfect occasion to make one for.

I have coloured up an old LOTV stamp called 'Wedding Couple' and coloured it with DI Reinkers. Unfortunately the photo doesn't show it, but I had added some Glamour Dust to parts of the brides dress to give it a bit of sparkle.

The shape of the card has been cut using a Spellbinders Heart die and the hearts are Joy dies.

The flowers, bells, rings tulle lace and rhinestone are from my stash, but the lace and pearl string are from the Ribbon Girl.

Where possible I have listed the materials I have used at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

DI list:
Bride:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress: Hickory Smoke
Flowers: Aged Mahogany, Spun Sugar
Groom:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Suit: Hickory Smoke

That's it from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

New Ribbon Girl Card Challenge - Abi Ballerina

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and perhaps had some crafty time to. Well the holiday is almost at end now, back to work tomorrow. I have had a lovely week, going for country walks, crafting and of course fitting in a few jobs around the house.

Anyway on with the task in hand, we have a new card challenge at the Ribbon Girl today and as always it's an 'Anything Goes' theme, any theme, any shape as long as it's a card.

We have three amazing prizes to give away, but I will tell you about them later on in my post.

I have coloured up another All Dressed Up image called Abi Ballerina and coloured her with DI reinkers.

There are a couple of new dies on this card, the first one you can just about see along the top edge of the card and is a  Fancy Flower edge die by Joy and the second is a Lovely View by Little Darlings both from Noor Design U.K.

All the beautiful embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl including the very pretty chipboard corners and the label which I've placed along the top of the image, they are really fashionable on cards at the moment and are brand new to the shop. I made the rolled roses myself using another new die, Rolled Up Roses by Joy.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress, Hairband and Bally Shoes: Aged Mahogany, Spun Sugar

Marvelous Magnolia is back ....

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a great week. You may have spotted this post on Sunday, I got my days muddled up and posted it a bit early, but took it down as soon as I realised woops. It was my birthday last  weekend and I celebrated with my lovely sons, girlfriends and hubby. I had the most wonderful day and was so spoilt. Two of my crafty friends, Rian and Judy sent me the most beautiful cards and very thoughtful gifts so thank you both very much, I truly appreciate it. To top it all I am on holiday this week too, catching up with a few jobs around the house and spending time in my craft room!

Anyway today I am delighted to announce that Marvelous Magnolia is back. We have taken a long break but we are now raring to go again!

We are also having a DT call,so if you love colouring up your Maggies, pop on over to the challenge blog to see what you need to do to enter.

So to start us off our challenge is ......

I have coloured up the lovey Tilda with Heart Rice, for some reason she doesn't come out of my stamp box very often so it is about time she has another showing. I have coloured her using DI reinkers.

The papers are from the new Maja Vintage Romance collection and I've chosen 'Engagement'.

The dies I have used are by Joy from Noor design U.K., the flowers, lace, silver heart charm, triple row pearl trim, love pennant and pearl gems are from my stash.

The ribbon, pom pom trim, and sheer ribbon are from the Ribbon Girl.
