Hello my lovelies,

Hooray it is the weekend, only four more days until half termJ. The good news is George will be home tomorrow afternoon; I am so looking forward to seeing him. Bless him he is feeling so guilty that he won’t be spending anytime with us tomorrow evening, but little does he know that his girlfriend has organised a surprise party for him and we will be there!

I am also very excited because my new Maggies from the latest collection arrived today; I hope I get time to have a little play this weekend.

Anyway on to the card, I thought I would share another Christmas card I made recently, once again using my new fav combo of reds. I have used Sweet Christmas Tilda and Winter Bench. New Challenge Marvelous Magnolia 'Halloween or Fall'

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you are having a good week. I have spent the last few weeks analysing data and it has completed worn me out, I think I am getting too old for this my little brain can’t handle it, but at least it is not long until half term now. Would you believe it George is delayed, so I’m not sure if I will get to see him this weekend as he has to go back to work on Monday. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I do as I am looking forward to a big hug.

Anyway on with the card, we have a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia and the theme is ‘Halloween’ or ‘Fall’ and we are sponsored by Crimson Cloud.

I must say I am not really into Halloween, but decided to give it a go; I don’t think my card turned out too badly. She is a fairly old Tilda from the Halloween So Spooky Collection 2009 and I have masked her with the ‘Hell Broth’ stamp from the same collection. I bought some Spiders Web and mounted it onto the card and have also wrapped one of the roses in it. I made the broomstick out of a twig and string. The swirl is my favourite Magnolia DooHickey die.

 Copics I used:
Skin: E31, 21, 00, 000, E93
Hair: E44, 43, 41. 40

LOTV 'Holy Light'

Good morning my lovelies,

I hope you are all well and managed to have some crafty time over the weekend. Some good news, George is returning from Afghanistan on Friday/Saturday and I am so excited!!

Anyway, I thought I would pop in to share another Christmas card I have made, but for a change I used an LOTV stamp called ‘Holy Light’ she is just so gorgeous and an absolute joy to colour, although I must say I spent hours colouring her. I used Copics to colour her using my favourite red colour combo (at the moment) and a few highlights using Prisma pencils. Her wings have had some Stickles added to them to give a bit of sparkle. Some Frantage has been added to give the effect of snow falling. The roses are from WOC and I have sprinkled some Diamond Dust over them to give an icy feel and the delicious Gypsophalia is from the Ribbon Girl.  The Sprawling fern is a Magnolia Doohickey Die. The Fir cones I picked up whilst walking in the woods and the ribbon and lace is from my crafty stash.

 Copics I used:
Skin: E31, 21, 00, 000
Hair: E44, 42, 41, 40
Robe: R59, 46, 29, 22, C5
Wings: E43, 42, 41, 40
Holly Garland: YG99, 97, 95, 93, 91, R59
Candle Stick: E53, 51, 50
Flame & Glow: Y17, Y02, 00, 000

I would like to say a big warm crafty welcome to my followers and thank you to everyone for leaving me such lovely comments.

Take care,

New Challange LHOSM - Dots or Stripes

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend. It is raining here today so there is only one thing to do and that is have a lovely crafty day!

We have a new challenge at LHOSM, and this week it is Dots or Stripes. Our sponsor for this challenge is the wonderful Live & Love Crafts.

I opted to make another Christmas card (I can’t help it, I am so enjoying making them) and stamped up Jingle Jangle Tilda and Christmas tree stamps . The gorgeous  papers are by Maja from the 'It’s Christmas Time' collection. As always I coloured using my trusty Copics and added a few highlights with Prisma Pencils. I really love this red combo, but it does have a tendency to bleed if you’re not careful. The leaves and clock (tucked behind the image) are Cheery Lynn dies and the flowers have been sprinkled with Diamond Dust to give a frosty feel.

Copics I used:
Skin: E31, 21. 00, 000, R20
Hair: E44, 42, 40
Jacket, Hat and Shoes: R59, 46, 29, 22
Top: YG99, 97, 95
Trousers: W7, 5, 3, 2, 1, 0
Christmas Tree: YG99, 97, 95, 93, 91

Pencils: Black, Dark Umber

My teamies have made some wonderful designs, it would be fab if you had a moment to pop over and have a peek and even better if you join in with our challenge.

Thank you for popping in, enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Big Hugs,

Magnolia Pixie Tilda

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you are well and had a lovely weekend, we had some glorious weather here in the South.

It has been a little while since my last posting, too long for my liking, but things are just so busy at the moment that I am playing catch up.

Anyway here’s a little Christmas card I have made using Pixie Tilda and Old Swedish Church background stamps (sorry I must be boring you with this one now). I hope the new Magnolia Christmas collection has some great background stamps. I bought a couple of new Blue Copics at Ally Pally which I have mixed in with some Greys and I think they are a fab shade for a wintery sky. I am also really into using Frantage to give the effect of snow falling at the moment. The Christmas tree is a Tim Holtz die and as I can’t help myself I have added some Diamond Dust (Twinklets) to the flowers and Magnolia Doohickeys Sprawling Ferns. I have also sprinkled lashings of Glamour Dust to the trees and ground. The swirl is a Magnolia Doohickeys die (my favourite). The snowflake is a Marianne Die.

 Copics I used:
Tilda
Skin: E31, 21, 00, 000, R20
Clothes: B99, 97, 95, 93, 91, W5, 3, 2, 1
Church W5, 3, 2, 1
Background B45, 41, C5, 3, 1, 0

Well that’s it from me today, thank you for popping in.

Take care.
