Magnolia Show the Way Tilda

Good morning my lovelies,

I hope you are all well.

Today there is a new challenge at The Rubber Buggy and this month it is a sketch.

I am stepping down from the Design Team so this will be my last posting for them. I would like to thank Kellie for inviting me to be part of this DT and to say sorry that it has been a short one.

I was right out of my comfort zone with this challenge as sketches are not my thing. I coloured up Magnolia Show the Way Tilda, Show the Way Baby Rudolph and Show the Way Sign from the Winder Wonderland 2013 collection. They have been coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noir pencils. This is the first time I have used real stitching on my cards, a big thank you to Linda Levoir for her easy to follow tutorial.  I still need some practice, but I really enjoyed it, it was quite therapeutic and it is something I will be doing a lot more of.  The papers are by Maja, and are called No. 20 from the Vintage Autumn Basics. For the snow I have used White Embossing Paste by Wendy Vecchi, this is a fab product. The beautiful flowers are by Prima and the ribbon is Grossgrain.

Magnolia Sea Shell Tilda

Hello everyone,

Happy Sunday to you. I went to a local Craft show yesterday, although it was a lot smaller than previous years, it was nice to be among fellow crafters. I bought a few bits and pieces which I am really pleased with.  I am also quite excited as I have a lieu day tomorrow so no school for me, which I am quite grateful for as I have a lot of catching up to do. Hopefully I will be able to get myself back on track.

Today we have a new challenge at LHOSM and this time the challenge theme is 'Summer Fun'.

I have used four stamps from the Magnolia Sea Breeze collection 2013: Sea Shell Tilda, Ocean Map, Sea Shell Kit and It's Summer Time Text.

Sea Shell Tilda is one of my favourite stamps from this collection. She has been stamped onto a Spellbinders die and coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noir pencils. I also stamped and coloured the shells and added some Glossy Accents to them. The sentiment has been stamped and inked with Walnut Stain Distress Marker and  a couple of Miniature Rolling Pins have been wound round the ends. The pink doily at the top of the card has been cut from a Tim Holtz die 'Distressed Doily'.  All the wonderful embelllies are from The Ribbon Girl.

Skin: E11, 21, 00, 000, R21

Our wonderful sponsor this week is Bunny Zoe Crafts. It would be lovely to see you join us in our challenge.

That's it from me this weekend. Hope you had a nice relaxing one.
