New challenge at LHOSM & DT Call

Hi lovelies,

I'm just popping back in as we have a new challenge today at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia and our theme is 'Glitter it Up'.

We are also looking for some new DT members to join this lovely team. The requirements are really easy:

Make one Magnolia creation per month following the challenge theme.
Comment on entries to the challenge.
Vote for the top 3 winners

All you have to do to apply is add DT after your name when you post your card on the challenge blog.

This challenge will run until the 10th of January and the new members of the DT will be announced on the 15th.

On with my card and I have coloured an oldie' Tilda with Cross Stitch' and masked her with Winter Bench. The papers are from a First Edition paper pad called 'Jingle all the Way'. For the falling snow I have used Frantage and for the lying snow Glamour Dust.

To add some interest I have sprinkled some frantage on to the ice crystals by using a clear embossing ink pad, sprinkling on the frantage and heating setting it.

The ribbon lace, twine and jingle bells are from the Ribbon Girl.  The ice crystals and tag are from Noor Design U.K. The flowers, berries, fir cones and cinnamon sticks are from my stash. Although I have used my own fir cones for this card, they are available from the Ribbon Girl. See the links below.

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend, whatever you are doing. Well it is still busy, busy , busy for me, I am still playing catch up and have so many things left to do and make, I just hope I get it all done in time. On the plus side all the Christmas present shopping is done so that is a big weight off my mind. I also have  the wedding invites to finish, but I am hoping to do that over the Christmas holidays.

Anyway today we have a new 'Anything Goes or Almost Christmas' card challenge at the Ribbon Girl. This is our last challenge of the year which will run until the 19th December. We will be back in the New Year after the team have had a little rest.

I have coloured up one of my favourite LOTV stamps called 'Holy Light using DI reinkers.

Around the edge of the image  I have placed some gorgeous string pearl. Stardust stickles has been added to her wings to give some extra sparkle and for the lying snow I have used Glamour Dust. The die peeping out on the left is a Magnolia Lace Swag. All the other dies and the paper pad are from Noor Design U.K.

All the beautiful embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl. It is quite hard to make out the ribbon I have used, but it is so lush and one of my favourite ribbons at the moment. All the links to the materials I have made are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

New Challenge - Marvelous Magnolia - Tilda with Snow Skis

Hi everyone,

I hope you had a lovely weekend, I had a fabulous  girly shopping trip with the girls from work on Saturday, it was really a lovely day out. Sadly I didn't have much chance to do any crafting this weekend as I was trying to get presents etc sorted for Christmas, it's amazing how long it all takes, but thankfully I'm nearly done now.

Today, we have a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia and our challenge is 'Anything Goes Christmas.

I have coloured up one of last years Christmas Maggies, called Tilda with Snow Skis and masked her with Old Swedish Church.

The circle die peeping out from the top, on the edge icicle and the ice crystal on the right hand side are Joy dies from Noor Design U.K., the snowflake banner is a Lala Lands die and the poinsettia is a Marianne die. I coloured the image using DI reinkers and added some frantage for the falling snow, glamour dust for the lying snow and covering the snowflake banner. The poinsettia die has had some twinklets sprinkled around the petals. Around the image is some lovely pom pom trim from the Ribbon Girl.

The flowers, ribbon, lace, charm and rhinestone sparklers are from my stash.

DI list:

New Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge - Words - It's all about the sentiment

Good morning,

Wahoo it's Friday, I hope you have all had a good week, once again the week has flown by, I can't believe we are almost into December. Tomorrow I am looking forward to having a girly Christmas shopping day with the girls from work and of course a delicious girly lunch too.

Anyway enough of my rambling. I am popping in share my DT card for the Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge. The lovely Annie is hosting this challenge and and our theme is 'Words - it's all about the sentiment'.

I found a Christmas sentiment by Circadesign called 'A Snowy White Blanket' which I stamped with Versarmark Stamp pad, sprinkled with burgundy embossing powder  and heat set it. I coloured up the gorgeous Tilda with Little Snowy Snowman and coloured her with DI reinkers. I have added a couple of black pearl gems to represent buttons. The deep red papers are from a Heartfelt Creations Frosty Blanket paper pad. Peeking out at the top is my favourite Icicle border from Noor Design U.K. I also cut some separate Icicles and layered them on top to give some extra dimension. Links to the materials I used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to taken directly to the product. The ribbon, lace and flowers are from my stash.
