New Challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia - Tilda on the Roof

Hi everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend. We have Kyra staying with us this weekend, so she is keeping us busy.

Anyway today starts a new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia and our challenge is an easy peasy one:

Flowers
(this can be in the form of paper flowers, die cut flowers, floral backing papers, image with flowers etc).

I apologise now, but I have made another Christmas card, this time using Tilda on the Roof masked with a Maggie Log stamp.

I have stamped her onto water colour paper and cut it using a Spellbinders circular die, once painted I added some white frantage and some pearl string.

The dies are by Joy.

All the beautiful embellishments are available at the Ribbon Girl, I have added the links at the bottom of this post. Just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Grand Espresso. Antique Linen
Waistcoat, Hat, Mittens: Victorian Velvet
Trousers, Boots and Top: Hickory Smoke
Log: Gathered Twigs, Grand Espresso

Our sponsor for this challenge is the wonderful Ribbon Girl, you could win:

Tilda with Lace Hood

Hi everyone,

I'm just popping in to share a card I made whilst I had some spare time.

This is another Christmas card using Lace Hood Tilda coloured with DI reinkers.

I have made the shape of the card using a Go Kreate Flower Die.

The papers are by Maja and have been edged with white gesso.

The die peeping out on the left hand side of the card is a Joy die and the die on the right is a Sue Wilson die, Holly Octagonal Frame.

The lace, ribbon, gold snowflake charm and flowers are from my stash.

The gorgeous snowflake and pine cones are from the Ribbon Girl.

On the left hand side is an envelope embellishment which I created using a Woodware punch and the cute bells were a gift.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Grand Espresso
Top, Hat: Hickory Smoke
Tights: Hickory Smoke, Gathered Twigs

Don't forget our current challenge  at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia is 'Anything Goes', we would love to see you join us.

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

New Card Challenge at the Ribbon Girl

Good morning everyone,

We have a new card challenge beginning today at the Ribbon Girl this morning.  As long as you enter a card, it can be any theme (Anything Goes), and any shape.

I haven't coloured an image this time, instead I have used some of the beautiful new release Pion papers from the shop. They are called: The Night Before Christmas Images and The Night Before Christmas, aren't they just gorgeous? I love the deep red, they look like velvet.

The on the edge ice crystals have been cut using a Joy die and cut using the left overs from the papers. The flowers, pine cones and jingle bells have had gesso painted over them. Peeping out from the top of the image is a Scrapiniec Chipboard piece called Park Avenue which I have sprinkled with chunky white embossing enamel.  The snowflakes are also Scrapiniec chipboard pieces.

The pom pom trim is cream and I think  finishes the card off perfectly.

All the beautiful embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl links to the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

We have THREE very generous prizes up for grabs:

First prize:
Papers from Maja - sent directly from Sweden

Second prize:
A £10 voucher towards a spending spree at the Ribbon Girl
Third prize:
A stamp of the winners choice from LOTV

We would love you to come and join us.

That's it from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.

New Challenge Marvelous Magnolia - Tilda with Little Snowy

Hi everyone,

I hope you have had a good week and I wish you all a wonderful weekend.

Today we have a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia and our theme this time is an easy peasy one :

Your Favourite Stamp

Well I say it's easy, but I have so many favourite Maggies, it was hard to choose one anyway I opted for Tilda with Little Snowy.

I have coloured her using DI reinkers.

The papers are by Maja, from the A Gift For you collection, the papers are called On Christmas Morning and have been edged with white gesso.

The snowflake die along the left hand side is a Sizzix on the edge die called Snow Flurries which has been cut in coordinating papers and edged with white gesso. I have used another Sizzix on the edge die called torn notebook along the left hand side of the image. There is a Joy die (8 point die) just peeping out from underneath the bow too. Sitting underneath the flowers on the right hand side is a Marianne die called pine branch which I have covered with Twinklets.

The lace, pom pom trim, flowers, silver flake web ribbon, pine cone and the diamante clear oval are all from the Ribbon Girl. Links to the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Grand Espresso, Walnut Stain
Puncho: Hat: Victorian Velvet, Hickory Smoke
Tights, Boots: Hickory Smoke
Snowman: Black, Spiced Marmalade, Hickory Smoke, Victorian Velvet

Well that's it form me today, but I will be back tomorrow morning.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Thank you for popping in.
