Waterlily Tilda

Morning my lovelies,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and managed to have some crafty time.

Today is a sad day for me as my youngest son (22) Lieutenant George Knott left for Afghanistan in the early of hours of this morning on his first tour of duty, I am so proud of what he has achieved and can’t wait until I see him either in August or September when he is due to return for his two weeks of R & R, at least I am back at work today so hopefully that will take my mind of it.

Anyway enough blubbing from me, today I am sharing a card which I made over the weekend. I decided to look out some of my old Magnolia stamps which I haven’t inked up for a while; in fact it must be at least 10 months since I used Waterlily Tilda and as I so like to do I have masked her with the Sea Background stamp. I have coloured using Copics and Prisma pencils.

Copics I have used:

Skin: E31, E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E37, E35, E33, E31
Dress & Headband: C5, C3, C1, C0
Water: B97, B95, B93, B91
Grass & Trees: YG99, YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91

Stamps: Magnolia Waterlily Tilda and Sea Background
Dies: Spellbinders, Whiff of Joy, Crealies
All other embellishments are from my crafty stash

Take care everyone and thank you for stopping by.

Hugs
Gina x

  2. Aww Gina, wish I could give you a hug hunnie. You must be bursting with pride for having such an honourable young man. When you see how some young people carry on these days doing nothing with their lives you must feel blessed.
Love your card. Details as always perfect and colouring beautiful.

You must be so proud of your son Gina. I know I am proud of all our young men who join the Army. My 10 yr old grandson aims to do just that. May God watch over George and keep him safe.
