Whimsy 'Berry' Christmas Card

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you are all well.

I am back from my lovely holiday in Tenerife. Boy was it hot though, according to the locals they had just started a heat wave. Still I read 3 books and took the occasional dip in the pool to keep cool! It was a very relaxing holiday and beautiful hotel, but I am quite happy to be home.

George is also home for his two weeks R & R before returning to Afghanistan to complete his 6 months tour, sometime in October. Sadly I have only seen him briefly as he has gone away with his brother and their girlfriends and unfortunately I am off on my travels again on Sunday, so that will leave me Friday night and Saturday to spend some time with him.

Enough rambling from me, over the last few weeks I have been making some Christmas cards and once I start it is hard to stop as these are my favourite type of card to make so apologies in advance if you get bored of me posting them.

I thought I would show a card using a Whimsy stamp called 'Berry'. She is so sweet and an absolute joy to colour. All the embellishments are from my stash. The rose has had some diamond dust added to it and the green foliage is some delicious moss. In amongst the moss are some fir cones and gold beads. The ribbon is Organza which had a gold bell attached to it. She has been coloured using Copics and a few highlights added using Prisma pencils.

Copics I used:
Skin: E31, 21, 00, 000, R20
Hair: E37, 35, 33, 31
Coat, Boots & Berries: R59, 46, 37
Scarf, Holly: YG99, 95, 91

 Pencils: Dark Umber & Black.

Thank you for all your lovely comments you left me while I was away.

Take care.

Hugs
Gina x
