Magnolia 'Tilda with Lantern'

Good morning my lovelies,

I hope you are all well and have a lovely crafty weekend planned.

It’s been quite a busy week, but I am slowly getting into the swing of being back at work.

I am going to Sandown Park Craft fair today with a few friends to have a lovely crafty day out. I am also hoping to go to Ali Pali in a couple of week’s time as well and tomorrow I collect my new glasses so I will be able to see again wahoo. I can’t believe that my eyesite has deteriorated so much in a year; it is real struggle to see when colouring and reading, I guess it’s a sign of old age creeping up on me.

This is one of the first Christmas cards I made this year which I forgot to share with you using the lovely Tilda with Lantern and Old Swedish Church which is my favourite Christmas background stamp. The scene has been coloured with Copics and a few highlights added with Prisma Pencils. The ice stars are a Marianne die and I have added some Diamond Dust (Twinklets) to give an icier look. I have also used the Tim Holtz On the Edge Snowflake die at the top of the card.

Copics I used:
Skin: E31, 21, 00, 000, R20
Hair: E57, 55, 53, 50
Boots, Hat & Coat: W5, 3, 1, 0
Scarf: E43, 42, 41, 40
Church: E43, 43, 41, 40 Y02
Lantern: E43, 41, 40, Y02, Y000
Pencils: Burnt Ochre, Dark Umber, Black

I would just like to say thank for all your lovely comments, they cheer me up no end, particularly when I am struggling with my crafty mojo.

Have a lovely weekend.

Hugs
Gina x

  1. Beautiful card Gina, I don't recognise that Tilda, it's nice to see some different ones. Love that ribbon with the cones and the whole scene has a lovely frosty feel. I know what you mean about the change in eyesight, I wear glasses for the pc in particular, and I wear them for crafting, but I actually have to take them off to colour my images, so I guess I must get closer than the glasses can focus properly lol. Hope you have a great day at the craft fair :) xx

  2. Oh what a wonderful Christmas card! your just fantastic at colouring those scenes, I think this colouring lark is to blame for our eye sight going down hill! I'm just the same, I had 20 20 vision before I started colouring. Now I'm on my second pair of glasses!
Have a great time at the craft fair xxx
    Love, Mel.
