LOTV Holy Light

Good evening everyone,

I hope you are all having a good week.

Just another week and half left of school and I am so looking forward to the holidays! I am feeling quite festive now and looking forward to spending some quality time with my family. I am almost sorted now; just a few more cards to make and I will be done. Sadly I will miss making Christmas cards as they are my favourite type of card to make.

So I thought I would share a card I made using an LOTV stamp, Holy Light She is one of my favourite LOTV stamps. I coloured her using Copics and a few highlights have been added using Primsa Pencils. I added some stickles to her wings to give some sparkle. The sentiments are also an LOTV set and are called Grunge Christmas Postmarks. The roses are from WOC and have had some Diamond Dust sprinkled over them and the flower sprays (I have fallen in love them) are from Live and Love Crafts. The papers are from the new Maja collection called Vintage Frost Basics. The ribbon, lace and pom pom trim are from my stash. Please click on the pictures below which will take you directly to the store.

Copics I used:
Skin E21, 00, 000, R20
Hair: E44, 43, 42, 41, 40
Robe: B99, 97, 95, 93, 91
Holly Wreath: YG99, 97, 95, 93, R59
Candle Stick: E43, 41, 40
Flame: Y19, Y00

Pencils: Burnt Ochre, Dark Umber, Black

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.

Hugs

  7. I love this card and I wanted to know what you use for the "splattering" of snow? I've seen this done on other cards by other designers/card makers and I would like to know how to do it and what to use? Thank you for the help and I love your work :)

    1. Hi Jeanne,
For the snow I have used Frantage. You sprinkle it on where you want it to go and then heat set it with a heat gun from underneath.Hope this helps.
