New Challenge Ribbon Girl - Christmas

Good morning my lovelies,

Happy 1st December, OMG where is the time going?? I love this time of year, but I am so behind and have barely had a chance to think about Christmas yet so I need to get my skates on!

We have our final challenge at the Ribbon Girls for this year,  but don't worry we will be back in January.  The theme this time is ‘Christmas' and  the scrummy prize is

what a lovely early Christmas present this would make!!

I have coloured up the wonderful Berry stamp (Whimsy) illustrated by the very talented Sylvia Zet . I coloured her using Copics and added a few highlights with Prisma Pencils, I think she looks gorgeous in the traditional red and green! I can’t seem to make a Christmas card without using Frantage; I have tried but each time I just have to add it (lol). The Xmas Bingo card and snowflakes are by Joy. The dies I have used are Magnolia Sprawling Fern and Cheery Lynn Leaf Flourish. The large rose at the bottom of the pic was white to start with, but I coloured it with R59 (Copic) and it’s almost a complete colour match to the Ruby Red Rolled Rose, both flowers have had a touch of Gesso painted on them. I got a little carried away with the Gesso and painted a couple of the Red Berries too. I love the rusty jingle bells I think they just add that finishing touch. All the wonderful embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl and are listed below, just click on the picture and it will take you straight to the product.

Copics I used:
Skin: E21, 00, 000, R20
Hair: E37, 35, 33, 31
Red: R59, 46, 29, 22
Green: YG99, 97, 95, 93
Cat: E43, 41, 40, R20

Pencils: Dark Umber, Black

The whole DT are taking part in this challenge, so If you get a chance pop over and have a look at all their creations, they are wonderful! and don’t  forget to take part in the challenge to be in with a chance of winning this great prize!

Thank you for popping in and enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Hugs
