Whimsy 'Iris'

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you have had a good week. For some reason I am very disorganised this week and I am chasing my tail so much so that I have started writing this post at work during my lunch hour lol.

Anyway on with today's post and I am sharing my inspiration card for The Rubber Buggy.

I have coloured up this cute Whimsy Wee stamp called Iris and coloured her with Copics and Spectrum Noir pencils. Tilda with Gift Tags

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you are having a good week, one more day to go and it's the weekend - yay!!

We have a new challenge today at Marvelous Magnolia and our theme this time is the ever popular 'Anything Goes'.

I love Christmas and Christmas cards are my favourite type of card to make and even though it is only June this was a great opportunity to make my first Christmas card of the year.  I chose to colour up Tilda with Gift Tags. I stamped her onto a spellbinders die (Decorative Elements Labels Eight) and coloured her with Copics and Spectrum Noir pencils and added some Frantage around the outside which gives a lovely snowy effect. Tucked behind her is some Cheesecloth fabric. The papers are Maja, but I can't remember which collection they are from. The fir cones are from my local woods and I've painted on some Gesso. The flowers are from WOC which have been sprinkled with some Diamond Dust to give a real frosty look. The lovely tag at the top left hand side is a Magnolia Wrapped So Lovely die to which I've added a few pearls and used some Bakers Twine to tie on some sweet little Rusty Bells from the Ribbon Girl. The white leaves are a Cheery Lynn die. The sentiment has been printed on my computer and wound round a cotton reel. Just clink on a picture at the bottom of this post to take you directly to the product.

Magnolia Sneaky Tilda

Hello my lovelies,

Happy Sunday, I hope you are having some well deserved rest today. This morning Phil and I went for a walk in our local woods and collected up some tiny fir cones ready for my Christmas cards, the rest of the weekend has been spent pottering around the garden and enjoying the warm weather. The temperature is just right for me, the older I get the less tolerant I am of the very hot weather.

Anyway on with today's challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia and the challenge this time is to use Kraft card.

I set myself the challenge of colouring onto Kraft card, rather than using it as an embellishment, however, I was a bit out of my comfort zone as this is the first time I have coloured directly onto Kraft card. I used my Spectrum Noir pencils and I am fairly pleased with the result, but would have liked it to be more vibrant, maybe it was the colours I chose.  I coloured up Sneaky Tilda, because she is my favourite Magnolia stamp at the moment and sprinkled a little Frantage around the outside. The papers are Papermaker by Craftstyle. Tucked behind the image is the gorgeous Magnolia Wrapped So Lovely die. All the beautiful embellishments are from the  Ribbon Girl. Just click on a picture at the bottom of this post and it will take you directly to the product.

Pencils List:
Skin: 094, 091, 089, 005, 041
Pink: 033, 030, 029, 035, 034
Hair: 101, 097, 095, 091, 003
Shoes: 101, 097, 005

We are sponsored this time around by the wonderful Ribbon Girl and you could win a:

To spend in their fabulous shop.

It would be lovely to see you join us in our challenge.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Thank you for popping in.
