Winter Skating Tilda

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend. We have had a little summer break at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia, but today we are back with a new challenge, Favourite Colour combo.

My favourite colour is pink and I love it with the grey tones. I have created a little scene using Winter Skating Tilda, Winter Bench and Sea Background. I think the Sea Background stamp is perfect for a lovely snowy scene. It doesn't show up very well in the picture, but I have used glossy accents to emulate ice where the sea should be, Frantage for the falling snow and Glamour Dust for the lying snow. Behind the image I have placed some cheese cloth and used Tim Holtz on the Edge Snow Flurries die and added a couple of Brads. The papers are Maja, Vintage Frost Basics and 5th December. I've attached a Time Holtz hinge clip which has been covered in Frantage to an LOTV, Christmas Grungy Message. The poinsettia is a Marianne die, which has had Diamond Dust added to it. The pretty pink Seam Binding and Cheescloth are from Ribbon Girl. The flowers and lace are from my stash.

LOTV Victoria and Pup

Morning everyone,

I hope you have had a good week, this is my last before returning to school on Monday boo hoo. I have had a lovely holiday, but it has gone so fast.

I thought I would just pop in with another Christmas make (sorry). I have had this colour combo in my head for a while and I thought this older LOTV stamp called Victoria and Pup would fit the bill nicely.   I have coloured the scene with Copics and Prisma pencils. There is a bit of a snow storm going on here lol,  for the falling snow I have used Frantage and Glamour Dust for the lying snow. You can't see too much of the papers, but they are by Reminisce called Twilight Snowflakes. The snowflakes have been cut using a Tim Holtz on the Edge Die and I have used the reverse side of the paper for these. The fir cones have been painted with Gesso and the flowers have had Diamond Dust added to them. The lace, pearls and ribbon are from my stash. The mini postage stamp is by Whimsy and the stamp on the base is an LOTV stamp.

Show the Way Tilda

Good morning,

I hope you had a lovely weekend. Today it is a Bank Holiday in the U.K. and it is pouring down with rain here in the South of England so a perfect day to spend in my craft room.  My son George has a new fur baby which Phil and I looked after for a few hours on Saturday evening, she is totally adorable, but full of character and a little monkey there are a couple of pics at the bottom of this post.

I thought I would share another Christmas card I have made with my Maggies, Show The Way Tilda, Show the Way Sign and Show the Way Baby Rudolph. I love making Christmas cards so any opportunity I get I am making them lol. The scene has been coloured with Copics and Prisma Pencils. I have sprinkled Frantage around the outside. The papers are by Heartfelt Creations, Frosty Blanket collection. The Ice Crystals are a Joy die which have been covered with Diamond Dust and a couple of pearl gems and Pearl Brads added to the centre. The banner is a Die-Namics die. Peeping out from the left is a Tim Holtz Picture Wheel. At the top of the card you can just about see a Marianne Die, which I have inked up with some Distress Ink (Weathered Wood). The Flowers are from my stash and the little swirl I have made from a Martha Stewart mould and Air Dry Clay.

Tucked underneath the flowers are a Magnolia Die, Sprawling Ferns which have also had some Diamond Dust added to them.

Hello my lovelies,

I have coloured up one of the lush new Maggies 'Tilda with a Big Big Rose'. She has been stamped onto a Spellbinders die 'Majestic Circles, and coloured with Copics and Prisma pencils. The shape of the card has been cut using a Grand Spellbinders die, Decorative Circles. Peeping out at top of the card is a Marianne die, Anja's Filigree Heart. The papers are by Pion, Flower Frames Violaceus, plus a scrap I had, but can't remember the name of. I cut the butterflies from a Cheery Lynn die and added a couple of butterfliesfrom  6th May (Vintage Spring Basics) which I laid on top.  At the bottom of the card I made a bow using the Magnolia Doohickeys Groom Bow die. Peeping out from the right is a Magnolia Doohickeys Wrapped So Lovely die. The flowers, lace, charm, and pearl string is all from the Ribbon Girl.

Easel Card Drawer - Happy Birthday Mum

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are having a good week! This is a scheduled post as we are off to the seaside today, hopefully sunny Bournemouth. Phil is off for the next two weeks so we are having a few days out, no holiday for us this year as we are using the money to do the house up. Our next project is our bedroom, we are in dire need of new furniture and it could do with a bit of a spruce up too.

I thought I would share an easel drawer card that I made for my Mum's birthday which she is celebrating today - Happy Birthday Mum.

I have stamped up a Joy Crafts Postcard stamp, Old Letter Rose and used Copics and Spectrum Noir pencils to colour it up. The corner is a Cheery Lynn Die and underneath the postcard is a Joy Crafts die and paper doily. The die cut feathers are a Spellbinders die. The square Pearl String and lace is from  the Ribbon Girls.

Inside the drawer is a surprise gift.

Copics list:
Rose: BG05, 2, 1, 000
Leaves: YG99, 97, 95, 93

Pencils:
Rose: 068, 066, 065, 061 Primaries set
Leaves: 058, 047 Essentials set

I shall be back later with a DT card for Marvelous Magnolia, and to give you a heads up we are having a DT call.

Have a lovely day and thank you for popping in.
