Hi everyone,
I hope you are enjoying your weekend, and if you are in the U.K. enjoy your extended weekend. We have been making the most of the mild weather this weekend and been pottering in the garden, it looks all neat and tidy again. We both have the week off and on Thursday I will be celebrating my birthday so Phil and I are going to have a couple of days away in Porthcawl South Wales.
Anyway on with the task in hand as we have a new challenge today at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia and our challenge this time is 'buttons or bows', I decided to use both.
I have stamped up one of the new Tildas from the latest Sakura collection. This little sweetie is called 'Tilda' with Knee Socks'. She has been coloured with a mixture of distress ink markers and reinkers. The shape has been cut using a Go Kreate die. At the top of the card I've used a Sizzix die, Torn Notebook and I've added a tiny bit of Dutch Doobadoo Structuer paste to the edges and some ivory pearl daisy trim along the centre. The bow is made from Pink Silky Crush ribbon and I've added a button and some natural twine. I've made a bow on the right using natural twine and added a silver heart charm and pearl gem.
