Whimsy 'Summer Fairy'

Hi everyone,

I hope you have all had a good week and not been affected by the heat too much if you are in the U.K.,  I for one have struggled with it, particularly on Wednesday when the temperature hit the mid 30's and it was so humid, I love to see the sunshine, but I can't cope with the temperature being above 24 degrees. My office was like a greenhouse especially in the afternoons, I guess I am more of an autumn/ winter girl.

Anyway today I am sharing a card I made for fun using another Whimsy stamp 'Summer Fairy', it is just a quick make but I think it turned out O.K.  She has been coloured using a combination of DI markers and re-inkers. The papers are by Maja and although it doesn't show up very well  in the picture I have hand stitched around the edges. Both the dies are by Noor Design and the flowers, lace, charm and ribbon are from my stash. Wings: Iced Spruce, Victorian Velvet
Leaves: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters

    So gorgeous, such a pretty image and colouring of her.
    I have felt the same as you with the heat Gina, the sunshine is lovely but I prefer it to be cooler.

    Totally with you on the heat, I flaked out on Wednesday, it was sooooooo warm. Love your pretty pink and feminine fairy. Have a great weekend :) xx

    She is fabulous Gina. Stunning colouring and design. I think I have this stamp and have never used it, naughty me! I agree with you on the heat. It leaves you exhausted.

    Wow you must have thought I was lax in not visiting I am still going with the missing comments I just hope these all work. I really looooove this image she has been coloured and embellished to perfection. Have a Lovely Day!
