Good morning everyone,
We are celebrating Mother's day here in the the U.K. today, so Happy Mother's day to all you Mum's out there, I hope you have a fab day! I spent a wonderful day with my sons yesterday and they spoilt me rotten.
We have a new card challenge at the Ribbon Girls this morning. The theme is 'Anything Goes', this can be in the form of any theme, any shape, but it must be a card. The challenge will run for the next two weeks and 3 winners will be chosen at random.
I have coloured up an LOTV stamp called 'Annabel Texting' and sprinkled some frantage around the outside of the image. The shape has been cut using my new Crealies stitched nesting dies. The papers are by Maja, Princess Margaret's Garden. Behind the image I have placed some corrugated cardboard which has had some white modelling paste smeared over it and some Rebecca ivory lace and ivory pearl string added to the left hand side.
I have cut a Joy die butterfly edge in matching papers which I have added to the left hand side of the card.
All the beautiful embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl. I just adore the sugar sprinkles sheer ribbon and it comes in several different colours! Links to the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the link.
DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dungarees: Gathered Twigs
