New Challenge at Marvelous Magnolia - Bohemian Peony Tilda

Hi everyone,

Well this week is flying by, I can't believe it is the middle of the week already, I hope your week is going well so far.

We have a new challenge at the Marvelous Magnolia today and our theme is
Ribbon and Lace.

For this card I have stamped up Bohemian Peony Tilda and masked her with the Summer Hill background stamp. She has been coloured with DI reinkers and the blue haze has been painted using Gansai Tambi paint.

The papers are from a Crafts and You paper pad, called Vintage Time, which I have distressed around the edges with a paper distresser.

Peeping out at the top of the card is a Joy die called Lattice Border die, and the swirl tucked under the flowers on the left is an old Magnolia Doohickey die. The butterfly is also cut from a Joy die in co-ordinating papers, which I've cut twice to give it some dimension and I've added some pearl trim to the centre.

Underneath the image, I have placed some cheesecloth.

The lace is from my stash and I've placed some pearl trim along the centre.

The flowers are also from my stash.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Gathered Twigs, Grand Espresso
Dress: Stormy Sky, Tumbled Glass
Peony: Aged Mahogany, Spun Sugar, Black Soot plus Dark Pink Gansai Paint
Fence: Gathered Twigs, Grand Espresso, Black Soot
Flowers: Aged Mahogany, Spun Sugar
Boots: Gathered Twigs, Grand Espresso

Gansai Paint: No. 62 Cobalt Blue, 34 Dark Pink

We would love you to come and join us. I will pop back later with the name of the sponsor.

That's it from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.

Hugs
Gina xx
