Inspirational card - Dreamerland Crafts - My Perfect Buddy

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all well and had a wonderful weekend.

This morning I am sharing an inspirational card using one of the new release Dreamerland Crafts stamps called 'My Perfect Buddy'. I am so in love with this stamp, you can also buy a coordinating die and stamp set to go with it. The stamp is made from red rubber and stamps out beautifully.

My Perfect BuddyCoordinating Die & Clear Stamp Package for Character Stamp D172012 My Perfect Buddy

I stamped the image with a Timber Brown Staz On ink pad onto Artistico extra white watercolour paper, coloured it with DI reinkers and die cut it with a circular die. The speckles around the outside of the image is white Frantage which has been heat set. For the pom pom on her hat, the fur on her boots and the lying snow I have sprinkled on some glamour dust. I then placed the circle on top of  an Ice Crystal Frame by Amy Design.

To create the circular shape of the card I used a Spellbinders circular die which I cut with white card and then with Maja papers which I edged with white Gesso paint.

The pink rose, beaded stamens and pine cones and square pearl trim are from the Ribbon Girl, the rest of the flowers and berries are from my stash. I have sprinkled some Twinklets onto the flowers,  pine cones and die cut sprawling ferns which is a magnolia doohickeys die.

The sentiment and hearts are from the coordinating die and stamp set.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Coat, Boots and Hat: Victorian Velvet, Black Soot
Dress and Scarf: Iced Spruce
Flower: Victorian Velvet, Aged Mahogany, Black Soot

Bear:
Gathered Twigs, Black Soot, Victorian Velvet, Worn Lipstick, Iced Spruce

Well that's all from me for now.

New challenge at Fussy or Fancy - Tilda with Christmas Lamp

Good morning everyone,

I hope you have had a good week and it's Friday yay!!!!

This morning we have a new challenge starting at Fussy and Fancy and our lovely Tone is hosting this challenge and has chosen the theme:

Blue and Brown/Beige Winter

I made another Christmas card using a couple of the older Maggies. This is Tilda with Christmas Lamp and Jingle Bell Rudolph. As always I have coloured the images with DI reinkers.

The lovely papers are from the latest Maja collection 'Joyous Winter Days' and I've painted some white gesso around the edges. I've also added gesso to the ice crystal and pine branches.

The pearl trim, pearl string, lace, jingle bell, blue twine, pine cones are from the Ribbon Girl.

The ice crystals are a Joy Crafts die and the pine branches have been cut from  a fantasy die.

The 'Noel' sentiment is an LOTV stamp.

I thought a cinnamon stick which I found in my stash would make a nice brown embellishment.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Coat and Hat: Stormy Sky, Black Soot
Trousers: Gathered Twigs, Old Paper, Black Soot
Lamp: Frayed Burlap, Black Soot, Squeezed Lemonade

Hi everyone,

I hope you are well and enjoying your weekend.

It's time for a new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia and for the next four weeks the challenge is:

Pearls, Gems or Sparkle
(its time to get your glitter, sparkly embellishments or pearls out or if you are feeling daring use all three)

I reached deep into my Maggie stamp box and pulled out this cutie called 'Tilda with Tag Gifts' and coloured her with distress ink reinkers.

The shape was cut from a Go Kreate die and the papers are from Heartfelt Creations paper pad called Frosty Blanket, they are a lovely rich burgundy and mixture of burgundy and green and I've painted on some white gesso around the edges.

Around the edge of the image I have sprinkled some white frantage and finished off with some white pearl string.

Along the right hand side of the image I have placed a mistletoe die cut which has been cut from a Magnolia Doohickey die.

The flowers are a mixture of roses, silver berries, pine cones and white meadow spray and I painted some white gesso around the edges of the petals and on the pine cones.

I have cut the banner die from a Joy Crafts die and the sentiment has been stamped with the co-ordintating stamp which I have heat embossed in silver embossing powder.

The white gathered lace, ribbon and snowflake charm are from my stash.

New Challenge at Marvelous Magnolia - Winter Skating Tilda

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all having a good week.

Today we have a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia and our theme is a super easy one:

'Anything Goes'

This gorgeous older Maggie is called 'Winter Skating Tilda' which I have masked with Winter Bench. For a change I've gone for a monochrome effect. In other words I have coloured her in the same colour (Walnut Stain), but just added a bit of black soot here and there. Around the outside of the image is some frantage and I've sprinkled some glamour dust onto the seat of the bench and also for the lying snow.

The snowflake border die has been cut from a Sizzix die and the snowflake is chipboard piece which I have covered with Twinklets.

The beautiful magnolia flower, pine cones, ivory berries, pearl trim, lace and ribbon are from the Ribbon Girl.

DI list:

Image and Bench: Walnut Stain, Black Soot

That's it from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.
