Sending Wishes

Hi everyone,

I hope you enjoyed the extended weekend if you are in the U.K. Crikey it was glorious weather, if a little too hot for me. It was a fairly relaxing weekend. Phil and I went on a 7.5 mile bike ride this morning, but that was early before it became too hot. The rest of time I was either in my craft room or sat in the shade doing some crocheting.

I am popping in to share another Polkadoodles card, I am really enjoying colouring up these cute images. This gorgeous stamp is called 'Sending Wishes'.

I painted the image with DI reinkers and wanted the colour to be quite soft.

The flowers in the two corners, the postcard and the postage stamps are from a Stempelglede 'Postcard from Paris' set of stamps. Tucked underneath the postage card is a Fantasy doily die cut. The birch leaves are also cut from a Fantasy die.

The small pink envelope has been cut from a Woodware punch.

The lace, silver butterfly and pearl trim are from the Ribbon Girl. The pink organza ribbon is from my stash, but the RG have lots of beautiful ribbons to choose from.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress, Shoes and Bows: Victorian Velvet
Envelope: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Hugs
Gina xx

I am entering this card into the Polkadoodles Crafting challenge

  6. Hi Gina, this is so dreamy, love the soft colours and the lace is fab. I purchased some polkadoodles stamps a while ago, I love her quirky style but haven't used them yet. Hope I do them as much justice as you have, this is gorgeous. Bike ride.... gosh I'm tired out just thinking about it, I'm such a couch potato!!
