New Challenge at Ally's Angels

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is well and enjoying the weekend.

We have a new 'Anything Goes' challenge beginning at Ally's Angels this evening and I opted to make another Christmas card.

I love this sweet Tilda, she is another oldie, but I can't resist colouring her up.

As always I have coloured her with distress reinkers.

DI list:

Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick

Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen

Dress and Boots: Gathered Twigs

Tights: Hickory Smoke

Present: Pumice Stone, Black Soot

The snowflake border and sledge are Joy crafts dies and the single snowflake is a Marianne die. All the die cuts have been sprinkled with twinklets which gives a lovely frosty look. I have added some twinklets to the flowers too.

The flowers, ribbon and lace are from my crafty stash.

The winner of the challenge will receive this gorgeous prize:

That's all from me today.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hugs

New Anything Goes Challenge at Creative Inspirations

 Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well.

We have a new challenge beginning at Creative Inspirations today and the theme is....

Anything Goes

The Paper Shelter are sponsoring us this month and the DT were very lucky to be given an image to play with.

Have you started your christmas cards yet? Mine are well under way, which takes some of the pressure off.

This fun snowman is called A Cheerful Snowman and she is so easy and quick to make a card with.

I have coloured her with distress reinkers. To create the dots on her hat and jacket, I dotted on some pebeo gum and left to dry before starting colouring. Once I had finished colouring I just rubbed away the gum. I have sprinkled some shabby white frantage around and over the image for the falling snow. For the ground covered snow I sprinkled on some glamour dust on top of some cosmic shimmer glue.

Along the top of the card is a Joy Crafts icicle border die which I have covered with twinklets diamond dust. The snowflake has been cut from a John Next Door set of dies and the sledge (Joy Crafts die) again have been covered in diamond dust.

The foliage are a mixture of a Creative Expression evergreen branches and John Next Door Lesley's Twigs.

To finish off I added some flowers from my stash, lace, ribbon, pom pom trim and a couple of silver mitten charms. I think the diamond dust gives the flowers a lovely frosty look.

The Paper Shelter are sponsoring us for this challenge

The winner will receive THREE images of their choice

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Happy crafting:)

Hexagon Shaped Christmas Easel Card

 Hi everyone,

I hope you are well and have had a lovely weekend. It's been a bit of a soggy one here in the south of the U.K., but I've actually spent some of the weekend crafting, just for fun which has been really nice:)

I thought I would share another Christmas card.  I have stamped up the beautiful Winter Tilda and this adorable polar bear, which is also a Maggie, but I can't remember the name or which set he comes from.

The shape has been cut with a hexagon shaped die

I have used distress reinkers to colour the scene and the papers are from The Hobby House.

DI list:

Skin: Vintage Phote, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick

Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen

Coat, Hat and Boots: Weathered Wood, Black Soot

Polar Bear: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot

The die cut snowflakes have been cut from a John Nextdoor set of dies and sprinkled with Diamond Dust Twinklets. The branches are from a Creative Expressions set of dies and the Eight Point die is by Joy Crafts.

The lace, ribbon and flowers are from my own crafty stash.

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Hugs
