A Card Made for Fun

Hi everyone,

I am just popping in to share a quick post for a card I made for fun recently.

This is Tilda Enjoying Summer. Summer isn't here just yet, but I love this Tilda. I have coloured her with Distress Ink reinkers and tried out a new colour combo on her dungarees. I have listed the colours I used below the pic.

The papers are from a Crafts For You paper pad called Vintage Time, aren't they gorgeous?

Once again I have used lots of Joy dies on this card, please see the bottom of this post to be taken directly to the product (just click on a picture).

I have made another of the gorgeous Fomairan flowers, and used the tool set to help shape them. They can be found at the Ribbon Girl, unfortunately I can't link the white foamiran in the usual way, but I have placed a link further down the page.

Reminder Card for the Paradise of Stamps (Anything Goes)

Good morning everyone,

I hope you had a good week and weren't affected too much by the snow. We had a blizzard for a couple of hours, but sadly it didn't stay for long, I love the snow so was a little disappointed. Today it is pretty gloomy and pouring down with rain. 

Anyway on with today's card today which is a reminder card for the current 'Anything Goes' challenge at 

Paradise of Stamps.

I have coloured up a Little Darlings Candibean stamp called Rosie Bear, with distress reinkers, she  is so cute. I decided to make her into a shaker card and used red heart confetti inside the shaker.

 I have cut two Joy dies, Open Heart with Butterflies and Sending Love Heart and Heart with Wings. Placed on top of the left hand side heart is some corrugated cardboard and honeycomb chipboard. 

The flowers are from my stash and the leaf die is a Rosy Owl die.Placed on top of one of the leaves on the bottom right hand side is a bronze heart charm.

The red beaded cherry and the guipure lace are from the Ribbon Girl.

GDT card for Alicia Bel

Good morning everyone,

This morning,  I am popping in to share a GDT card I made for the lovely Alicia Bel.

This little beauty is called 'Shy' and she can be found here.

I coloured her with distress inks, I had wanted to colour her softly, but got a bit heavy handed, sadly  I didn't have time to re-do her.

The papers are from the Gossamer Blue paper pad by Lemoncraft.

I have cut three of my favourite Joy dies, Open heart with Butterfly die, Flower Frame and Lattice Border die.

  The tassels are made from a Marianne die and I've hooked them onto a wine glass charm which was a gift from a lovely crafty friend.

I made the pink flower myself using foamiran, rosy owl flower die, flower tools and some stamens, the rest of the flowers are from my stash.

The paper pad,  foamiran, tools, stamens, pearl string, and paper pad are from the Ribbon Girl.

New Challenge at LHOSM - Danish Royal Opera Tilda

Hi everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend😊

We have the first challenge of the year over at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia today and the theme is the ever popular:

Anything Goes

I have coloured up Danish Royal Opera Tilda (from the Stamp and Cutz collection), she comes with a die which makes a violin and a little bird, I have left out the violin but the cute little bird is left of the image.

I have made a tag shape card and added and extra Joy tag to the top and added a lace bow and a small pink rose.

Peeping out on the left hand side is a viewmaster die by Joy and a pretty paper doily. The envelope is made with a Lea'bilities die.

I have made another flower using the AC2 Rosy Owl die, foamiran and pink stamens. The rest of the flowers are from my stash,

On the right hand side of the card is a different style of  view die, this time cut from a Little Darlings Lovely View die.

Some of the lace, the foamiran, tools to help shape the flower and stamens are from the Ribbon Girl.

Happy New Year!! - New Card Challenge at the Ribbon Girl

Good morning everyone,

Happy New Year!! I hope it will be a happy, healthy, and prosperous year for you all and I hope that not too many of you are nursing hangovers this morning😉.

Did you all have a fab  Christmas? mine was fairly busy, but I spent some quality time with my family. I hope you Santa bought you a few new crafty bits and pieces to play with.

A big thank you to everyone that popped in, sent me messages and left me comments last year, I really appreciate them and at times it has kept me going.

So on with the task in hand as we have a new card challenge at the Ribbon Girl, this is any design, any shape any image as long as it is card.  

I have stamped up an old Saturated Canary image called 'Nikki'. She has been coloured with distress reinkers. 

The papers are absolutely lush, they are by Lemoncraft and are called Heart Painted. My absolute favourite colours are pink and grey and they fit the bill perfectly!

All the beautiful embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl

For Christmas my lovely hubby bought me so foamiran, stamens, dies and the tool set for shaping the flowers (all available from the Ribbon Girl), you can see the results above. I have used the pink and white foamiran, tucked behind the white flower is another flower which started off white, but I have applied some Victorian Velvet distress ink from a stamp pad to the tips of the petals.
