Sharing another Christmas card

Hi everyone,

I know it was a couple of days ago now, but I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed some beautiful autumnal weather, we certainly did here in the south. 

Today I am sharing a Christmas card that I made back in the summer. The shape has been cut using a Go Kreate die. I forgot to note down the name and make of the papers, but the edges have been painted with structure paste.The stamps are both quite old now, but I still like them. They are both by Magnolia,  Sweet Christmas Tilda and Winter Bench. All the dies are from Noor Design U.K. and have been cut on brown card and sprinkled with shabby white frantage.

I have covered the seat of the bench with Glamour Dust to give a good snowy effect. The little sentiment is an LOTV stamp. The lace, flowers and ribbon are from my stash. Something For You Tilda

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well and have had a good week. I was going to post this tomorrow when I got home from work and then remembered I am out with the girls from work. We have all had a very busy start to the term and are in need of a good night out!

This is a Christmas card I made recently. I've stamped up my favourite Magnolia background again and masked it with Something For You Tilda and used DI reinkers to colour the scene

The papers are by Maja and have been edged with structure paste.Tucked between the papers is some cheese cloth. I have sprinkled some twinklets over the flowers, something I love to do with flowers for Christmas cards.  The jingle bells and red twine are from the Ribbon Girl. The tag, sledge and winter text are dies from Noor Design U.K. You can just about make out the stocking in the photo which is a Lala Land Die.The lace is from my stash. New challenge Marvelous Magnolia - Bohemian Peony Tilda

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a good weekend, it's that time of year when the garden needs a good tidy up before winter arrives. We have had some glorious autumnal weather this week so I made the most of it this weekend and pottered in the garden in between making some cards. I hope the week is off to a good start for you.

I'm popping in to share a card I've made for the new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia. Our challenge this time is to use some black. 

I opted to use some black lace and a black feather. 

I have coloured up my favourite Tilda from the new Bohemian collection called Bohemian Peony Tilda and coloured her with DI reinkers. 

Peeking out from the top is a Noor Design Sending Heart filled with Butterflies die. The papers are a mixture of Maja and Pion and have been edged with structure paste. Underneath the flowers is a Memory Box loopy rings die. Tucked underneath the image is some cheesecloth. The white lace, pearl beads and cheese cloth are form the Ribbon Girl.  The flowers, black lace and feather  are from my stash. New Challenge at Fussy & Fancy - Autumn Colours

Happy Friday to you all, just a few more hours and the weekend begins yay!! 

Today I'm sharing my DT card for Fussy & Fancy and our theme is 'Autumn Colours'.

This is the first time I have coloured up one of the beautiful Aurora Wings images. I have admired these images for quite a while and I was very lucky to receive a gift voucher for my birthday from a dear crafting friend, it took me months to choose an image, there are so may beautiful ones in her shop. I finally settled on Peace Rose. I spent a long while colouring the image,  I think it turned out quite well (even if I do say so myself lol). I very nearly got my copics out for this one, but decided to give it a try with my DI's. 

The shape of the card was cut using a Go Create die and hand stitched around the outside. The butterfly, gate and tag were cut from Noor Design dies. The bronze corner, pearls, birdcage, ribbon, lace and pearls are from my stash.

New Challenge Paradise of Stamps - Santa's Letter

I hope you are all well. OMG it's the 1st of October today time is flying by before you know it, it will be Christmas! I don't really mind because Christmas is my favourite time of year! 

That brings me onto my card today for the new challenge at Paradise of Stamps, our challenge this time is  'Boy'. Well I won't lie I nearly had palpitations, I don't do male cards, no lace or flowers eek. I don't own many male stamps either as I try to avoid making male themed cards. Anyway after trawling through my stamp box, I came across a really old stamp by Sugar Nellie called Santa's Letter which fits the bill nicely.

I have coloured the image using DI reinkers and really enjoyed colouring it. For the shape I used a Go Create Die, the papers are by Maja and scraps  from my scrap box. I have painted on structure paste around the edges. Along the top I have used a Noor Design die called Stars Edge. Peeping out from the top right is a small envelope, and for the inside  I used a text stamp  to emulate a list. The red twine and jingle bells (which I painted with Gesso) are from the Ribbon Girl. The bark stars and hessian are from my stash and the little Christmas sentiment is from an LOTV  set of stamps.

GDT card - Paper Nest Dolls - Holiday Friends

Good morning everyone,

 I hope you have had a good week, and you have a fabulous weekend in store. Apart from the usual household chores, I haven't much planned this weekend.

Today I am sharing a GDT for the Paper Nest Dolls. I was so happy to make a Christmas card for Christine and loved every minute of making this card. This gorgeous image is called Holiday Friends and she can be found here. I have coloured the image using DI reinkers.

I have used some of my favourite  Christmas dies  and paper from Noor Design UK. The papers have been edged  with structure paste. The silver bells and lace are from the Ribbon Girl and the flowers, ribbon and natural moss are from my stash. For the falling snow I've sprinkled Shabby White frantage around the image and for the lying snow, and fur around her hat, collar and cuffs I've used lashings of Glamour Dust.
