Marvelous Magnolia Challenge - Anything Goes

Hello my lovelies,

We are into the second week of our Anything Goes challenge at  Marvelous Magnolia  so I am just sharing an inspirational card I have made.

Sorry but this is another Christmas card,  but this time I have used non traditional colours just to make a change. I stamped up North Pole Tilda and masked her with Peaceful Christmas Tree and as always have coloured up the scene using Copics and added a few highlights with Prisma Pencils. The fir cones are from my local woods which I have painted with Gesso. The snowflake border is a Joy die and I’ve also used the Sprawling Fern and Cheery Lynn Leaf dies. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon is my favourite pink Silky Crush.

 Copics I used:

Skin: E21, 00, 000, R20
Hair: E57, 43, 53, 50
Coat & Hat: R83, 81, RV000
Gloves & Boots: E43, 42, 41, 40
Tree: B99, 96, 93

I hope you can join us in our challenge; if you get a chance, pop over and have a look at all the lovely DT's wonderful work.  I look forward to seeing your wonderful creations.

Thank you for popping in and a crafty wave to my new followers!

Take care

New Challenge LHOSM - Christmas is Coming

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you are having a lovely weekend.

We have a new challenge at LHOSM with a fabulous theme of ‘Christmas is Coming’. Our lovely sponsor this week is the Ribbon Girls

As you may have gathered by now I love making Christmas cards and I thought ‘Show the Way Tilda masked with Show the Way Sign would fit the challenge nicely. As always I have coloured with Copics and added a few highlights with Prisma pencils.  I used the Cheery Lynn Flourish Leaf Strip to make the garland and painted the fir cones with Gesso (I was very lucky to be having some as a gift) and just to finish it off I added a few Silver Beads. The Ice Crystals are a Joy die and I’ve popped a couple of white pearls gems in the middle. The ribbon and lace are from my crafty stash.

Copics I used:
Skin: E21, 00, 000, R20
Hair: E57, 43, 53, 50
Coat, Hat & Boots: C5, 3, 1, 0
Sign: E44, 43, 42, 41, 40

Pencils: Burnt Ochre, Dark Umber, Black

I hope you can join us in our challenge and I look forward to seeing your wonderful creations.

A big crafty hello to my new followers, and thank you for following me, you are very welcome.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Magnolia 'Snow Ski Tilda'

Good morning my lovelies,

I hope you are all well!

I thought I would schedule a quick post (as I am at work) to share a card I made using Snow Ski Tilda. She has been coloured with Copics and a few highlights have been added with Prisma pencils. I went a bit mad with the Frantage on this one, but I think it looks O.K., I do think that Frantage gives a great snowy effect. The papers are Maja, you might have guessed I adore these papers. The Xmas bingo stamp is by Joy, I have been looking for this set of stamps for ages but couldn’t find them and lucky me I managed to get them at the NEC. All the embellishments, Ribbon and Lace and the cute little Jingle Bells are from the Ribbon Girl (please see below for a full list of materials used). The little stamp and Noel sentiment is from an LOTV set called Grunge Christmas Postcards(another purchase from the NEC).

 Copics used:
Skin: E21, 00, 000, R20
Hair: E57, 43, 53, 50
Top & Hat: R83, 81, RV000
Scarf: YG99, 97, 95, 93
Skis: E37, 35, 33, 31

Pencils: Tuscan Red, Burnt Ochre, Dark Umber, Black

Thank you for popping in and for all the lovely comments you leave me.

 Hugs

New colour challenge Ribbon Girl - White

Good morning my  lovelies,

I hope you are well. It seems we are in for a cold spell in the U.K. with the possibility of snow in some areas although I don't think it is going to reach us here in the south.

Today we have a new colour challenge at the Ribbon Girl and it is WHITE. Below is a gorgeous inspirational picture.

and there is a wonderful prize

The lovely Sherri Baldy contacted me and asked me if I would consider colouring up one of her Besties, of course I had to say yes, her images are gorgeous. I chose a beautiful digi image who goes by the name of Fluffie Muffie and she can be purchased here. She was perfect to go with this challenge and an absolute dream to colour.  I couldn't resist adding lashings  of Glamour Dust to give that extra sparkle. The die cut on the left is a Fanciful Flourish Cheery Lynn die and peeping out above that is a Joy die. Tucked underneath the flowers on the right is my favourite Magnolia DooHickey Swirl Die. At the top and bottom of the flowers I have used another of my favourite Magnolia Dies, Sprawling Ferns.
All the beautiful embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl. Please see below for a list of  the materials used.

 Copics I Used:
