GDT card - Paper Nest Dolls - Holiday Friends

Good morning everyone,

I hope you have had a good week, and you have a fabulous weekend in store. Apart from the usual household chores, I haven't much planned this weekend.

Today I am sharing a GDT for the Paper Nest Dolls. I was so happy to make a Christmas card for Christine and loved every minute of making this card. This gorgeous image is called Holiday Friends and she can be found here. I have coloured the image using DI reinkers.

I have used some of my favourite  Christmas dies  and paper from Noor Design UK. The papers have been edged  with structure paste. The silver bells and lace are from the Ribbon Girl and the flowers, ribbon and natural moss are from my stash. For the falling snow I've sprinkled Shabby White frantage around the image and for the lying snow, and fur around her hat, collar and cuffs I've used lashings of Glamour Dust. Where possible I have added the links to the materials I have used at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the image.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Cloak, Hat and Boots: Weathered Wood
Coat and Bells: Hickory Smoke
Reindeer: Gathered Twigs, Worn Lipstick

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy a bit of crafty time too.

Thank you for popping in.

Hugs

New challenge at Marvelous Magnolia - Free Spirit Tilda

Hi everyone,

Where did that weekend go? it zoomed by, I hope you all enjoyed yours and were able to enjoy some crafty time too.

It's time for a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia and once again our theme is 'Anything Goes, I am quite enjoying the 'Anything Goes' challenges.

I was very tempted to make another Christmas card, but I behaved and decided to colour up another of my new maggies. She is called 'Free Spirit Tilda'. On her dress I've used one of the new DI reinkers called Ground Espresso, I love this colour tone. The papers are from a  Studio Light paper pad, Vintage Line. Tucked underneath  the image is  barbed wire die, but I can't remember what make it is. The heart swirls were cut from Magnolia Doohickey die. All the beautiful embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl,  the links are at the bottom of this post.

DI list:

New colour challenge at the Ribbon Girl - Oak Tree Girl

Good morning everyone,

I hope your all had a good week and enjoying your weekend! It is still so busy at work, in fact there aren't enough hours in the day at the moment. Thank goodness for being able to relax in my craft room when I am not too tired.

Anyway enough waffling from me as this morning we have a new colour challenge at the Ribbon Girl and our colour this month is blue.

I have coloured up another of my gorgeous Wee stamps, this little beauty is called Oak Tree Girl. She has been coloured with DI reinkers. I personally think I have spoilt it by adding the red around the outside, but it is something I have been wanting to try for a while and I don't think I will be doing it again, unfortunately I just didn't have the time to colour another one.

The lace, flowers, ribbon cheesecloth, pearl string, and diamante embellishment are all available at the Ribbon Girl, I have put the links to the materials I have used at the bottom of my post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Hair: Walnut Stain
Clothes and Boots: Hickory Smoke, Broken China, Weathered Wood
Bird: Frayed Burlap, Weathered Wood, Worn Lipstick
Leaves: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters, Fired Brick

We have two wonderful prizes up for a randomly selected winner:

and from Marianne

Well that's all from me today, I do hope you will be able to join us in our challenge.

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.

Bohemian Peony Tilda

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all well and are having a good week. It's been quite a wet and dreary week here in the south of the U.K., but I really don't mind, although I have been at work during the day,  I love to craft in this sort of weather.

Anyway enough waffling from me. I am popping in today to share a card I made using one of my new maggies Bohemian Peony Tilda, I think she is my favourite of the new collection.

The photo isn't brilliant, it doesn't show up the true colour of the ribbon for some reason which is khaki green

The die along the top of the card and the die Tilda is mounted on and the tag are from Noor Design. The papers are from the Antebellum paper pad by LOTV. The lace bow and cheese cloth, pearls some of the flowers are from the Ribbon Girl. Everything else is from my stash. I have put the links to the materials I have used (where possible) at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Aged Mahogany
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress and Leaves: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters
Peony: Aged Mahogany, Spun Sugar
Shoes: Gathered Twigs

Well that's it from me today.

Thank you for popping in.
