New challenge at Marvelous Magnolia - Free Spirit Tilda

Hi everyone,

Where did that weekend go? it zoomed by, I hope you all enjoyed yours and were able to enjoy some crafty time too.

It's time for a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia and once again our theme is 'Anything Goes, I am quite enjoying the 'Anything Goes' challenges.

I was very tempted to make another Christmas card, but I behaved and decided to colour up another of my new maggies. She is called 'Free Spirit Tilda'. On her dress I've used one of the new DI reinkers called Ground Espresso, I love this colour tone. The papers are from a  Studio Light paper pad, Vintage Line. Tucked underneath  the image is  barbed wire die, but I can't remember what make it is. The heart swirls were cut from Magnolia Doohickey die. All the beautiful embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl,  the links are at the bottom of this post.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Aged Mahogany
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress and Shoes: Ground Espresso
Flowers: Aged Mahogany

Our sponsor for this challenge is:

Magnolia-licious

so pop on over and come and join us, but make sure you post your card under the correct category or else it won't count.

Thank you for all your lovely comments, I enjoy reading everyone of them.

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.

Hugs
Gina xx

  4. Oooh Gina this is sooo pretty! Those rich, warm chocolate colours and beautiful deep pinks look fabulous together. I love how you have coloured Tilda too, can I ask what brand of watercolour paper you use, mine is rather textured which makes it difficult for me to blend the colours?

    1. Hi Lorraine, I buy Artistico Extra White (Hot Pressed) Watercolour paper, it is quite expensive but worth it. I get mine from Ebay. If you can't find let me know and I will send you the link.

    2. Thanks Gina, I will have a look for it. All my attempts at water colouring have been disastrous so far, if I get your paper and it's still disastrous we'll know it's me! :)
