New Challenge at LHOSM - Hello Little Butterfly

Hi everyone,

It's a Bank Holiday weekend for those of us in the U.K. I hope you are having a fabulous time and the weather is being kind to you. It is nice and warm, here in the south.

We have a new challenge beginning at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia today. Our theme for this challenge is:

Summer
(this can be summery backing paper, summer image, flowers, butterflies, anything to do with summer).

I have coloured up another older Tilda's called Hello Little Butterfly Tilda  and masked her with the Open Gate stamp. I used DI reinkers to colour the scene.

The papers are by Maja called Love is in the Air and I've machine stitched the edges.

I've placed some ivory pearl string around the outside of the image. The die cut corner has been cut  from a Robert Addams set of 4 dies.

The butterflies have been cut from a Joy Crafts die in coordinating papers and I've added some ivory pearl trim to the centre.

The die cut peeping out of the top is a large Marianne corner.

Most of the flowers, lace, pink glitter ribbon, pearl trim, pearl string, double row pearl trim, pearl cluster and sparkly gem butterfly charm are from the Ribbon Girl. There is currently 15% discount across the whole of the shop, which runs until the 2nd June.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress: Victorian Velvet, Hickory Smoke
Gate: Gathered Twigs, Black Soot
Flowers: Victorian Velvet, Shabby Shutters, Forest Moss
Grass: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters

The winner will win a Guest Designer spot for an upcoming challenge.

After this challenge the DT are taking a well earned summer break, but we will back towards the end of August.

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Hugs
Gina xx
