Merry and Bright - New Release Winnie Winter Wishes Clear Stamps from Polkadoodles

Morning everyone,

Today I am popping in to share some more Polkadoodles Christmas inspiration.

I have coloured up another of the very gorgeous clear stamps from the new release Winnie Winter Wishes, this one is called Merry and Bright.

Links to the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

This beautiful stamp has been stamped onto the largest Posydoodles circle die and coloured with distress reinkers, which is my favourite medium. Why you ask, well I find painting very therapeutic and the distress inks blend so easily.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Coat, Boots, Bow and Present: Tumbled Glass
Sack, Scarf and Poinsettias: Barn Door, Aged Mahogany, Black Soot
Reindeer: Gathered Twigs, Worn Lipstick, Black Soot
Animals: Hickory Smoke, Walnut Stain,Gathered Twigs, Worn Lipstick.
Present: Iced Spruce

I have also stamped the snowflake and 'Joy' sentiment which is part of the stamp with a versamark ink pad, sprinkled on some silver embossing powder and heat set it with a heat gun.

The delicious papers are from the Ho Ho Gnome Season 6" x 6" paper pad which I have edged with white gesso. I tend to do this a lot, just because I love the finished look. The cute tag has been cut using one of the Posydoodles Tag dies. The fabulous spruce dies are from the Holly Spruce set of dies which cut beautifully. To finish them off I have sprinkled on some twinklets which gives them a lovely icy look, just perfect for Christmas.

Winnie Christmas Wishes - Brand New Polkadoodles Collection

Hi everyone,

I hope you are well and your week is off to a good start.

Today I am popping in to share another of the beautiful new clear Winnie stamps from the stunning Winnie Christmas Wishes release.

This fabulous set comprises of 6 clear stamps, paper packs, topper packs and lots more!!

They are available from your favourite craft stores, but keep your eyes peeled as they will be shortly available in the Polkadoodles shop.

Links to the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

I have gone right out of my comfort zone with the colours for this card. I was inspired by a picture I recently saw and loved it so gave it a go.

I love painting so have used distress re-inkers to colour the stamp. I blended two colours together on the umbrella to create a different effect. Listed below are the colours I used.

Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen, Black Soot
Coat and Boots: Brushed Corduroy, Black Soot
Umbrella: Hickory Smoke, Brushed Corduroy
Snow People: Hickory Smoke, Worn Lipstick, Ripe Persimmon, Barn Door, Aged Mahogany, Black Soot
Reindeer: Gathered Twigs, Black Soot

in love with AUTUMN 6 x 6" paper pack

The gorgeous mustard papers are from the 'In Love with Autumn' paper pad, it just goes to show how versatile they are.

I've sprinkled some Twinklets onto the beautiful Glorious border die to give it a lovely icy look.

New Challenge at Creative Inspirations

Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing a card I made for the new challenge at Creative Inspirations

The theme this month is Masculine or Halloween/Autumn.

This was a tough one for me as I don't tend to make Halloween cards and I don't enjoy making masculine cards.

Anyway I opted for masculine.

I have coloured up a Dreamerlands Crafts stamp called 'Let the Journey Begin' and coloured it with distress reinkers.

I cut the shape of the card with a Craft and You set of dies and used a Happy Birthday embossing folder to create the text.

To create the colour, I rubbed on some silver, gold and bronze gilding wax.

The cogs were cut from a Robert Addams die and again I rubbed in some gilding wax and added a few pearl gems,

I love the set of keys at the bottom of the card they are a cut from a Leane Creatief set of dies.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Brown: Gathered Twigs
Black Soot

This month Crafty Ribbons are sponsoring our challenge and you could win a selection of the ribbons below.
