New Challenge at Creative Inspirations

 Good morning everyone,

Happy Wednesday, I hope you are all well.

Today is the start of this month's challenge at Creative Inspirations and our theme for this 

month is.............

Autumn or Halloween

I chose to go with the autumn theme and have coloured up another stamp from Dreamerlands Crafts called 'Walk With Me Hand in Hand'. I thought it was the perfect image with the leaves falling around them.

I have coloured the scene with distress reinkers.

I opted to make a slightly different style of card for this challenge, which I quite enjoyed.

The papers are from Anna Marie Designs called Blissful Green. 

This month's prize is from Crafty Ribbons and they are giving away a selection of autumnal toned ribbons.

New Challenge at Creative Inspirations

 Good morning everyone,

We have a new challenge beginning at Creative Inspirations today and the theme for this month is......

Spots or Stripes

I have coloured up a cute stamp called 'Big Shoes to Fill' from Dreamerlander Crafts. She has been coloured with distress reinkers. To create the spots on her dress, I  used some pebeo drawing gum and left it to dry before starting to paint.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage photo, tattered rose, worn lipstick
Hair: Walnut stain, antique linen
Dress: Gathered twigs
Shoes: Victorian velvet

New 'Anything Goes' Challenge Creative Inspirations

 Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine if you are in the U.K., although I feel we could do with some rain now to top up our resevoirs, rivers and water our garden plants. It would also be nice to see some green grass again!

Anyway today we have a new challenge at Creative Inspirations and the theme for this month is......

Anything Goes

We are kindly being sponsored by All Dressed Up for his challenge and were lucky to receive an image to play with.

There was no question, she had to coloured in pink! I have used distress inks to paint her.

I must confess I haven't bought any new crafty goodies for quite some time, so all my dies are oldies. They are a mixture of Lala Land Crafts, Crafters Companion and Joy Crafts.

New Anything Goes Challenge at Ally's Angels

Hi everyone,

I hope you are well and enjoying the warm weather in the U.K. at the moment. 

We have a new challenge at Ally's Angels this evening and as always the theme is........

Anything Goes

I have just made a start on my Christmas cards, even though the sun is shining brightly:) This sweet stamp is a real oldie. The stamp is made by Flower Soft from the Moments in Time collection  and is called Let it Snow.

I have used distress reinkers to colour the scene, I really love the cold hues of blue and grey together.

Around the outside of the image I have sprinkled some shabby white frantage to give the effect of falling snow.

The papers are from my stash and I have painted some white gesso around the edges just because I love the look of it on winter cards.

Again the dies I have used are very old ones which are a mixture of magnolia and joy craft dies. 

The distress inks I have used are: Hickory smoke, weathered wood and black soot.

New challenge at Creative Inspirations

 Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well. After all the rain we had last week, I have heard a little rumour that summer is returning:)

Today we a have a new challenge begining at Creative Inspirations and our theme this month is.......

Summer Sun

These two cuties are having fun out in the summer sun. The stamp is by Dreamerland Crafts and is called 'Feeling Good'. 

I painted the tree, bushes and path myself just to set the scene using distress reinkers.

The ribbon, flowers and lace are from my own crafty stash.

New Anything Goes Challenge at Ally's Angels

 Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well.

We have a new Anything Goes challenge beginning at Ally's Angels this evening.

This card was created for my son and his new wife who were married last weekend.  The gorgeous stamp is by Dreamerland Crafts and the papers are by Maja.

For the heart which is peeping out of the top of the image, I cut a heart die then covered it in lace.

The tags that are attached to the flowers are from a LOTV set of stamps which have been heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

The lace, flowers, heart charms, pearls, ribbon and heart embellishment are from my own crafty stash.

For the sentiment I cut a heart shaped die, stamped the sentiment with a clear ink pad, sprinkled on some silver embossing powder and heat set it. 

Tha card stand was cut from a Joy Crafts die.

The lucky winner will win this gorgeous stamp.

New Challenge at Creative Inspirations

 Hi everyone,

I hope you are well and if you are in the U.K. I hope you enjoy the Jubliee clebrations and the extended weekend.

Today we have a brand new challenge beginning at Creative Inspirations and the theme for this month is.......

Masculine

We have a brand new sponsor this month and she very kindly provided the DT with a set of digis to play with.

I find it incredibly difficult to create anything masculine, but came up with the idea of creating a pop up box card. I am quite pleased with how it turned out. 

To create the card I followed the you tube video by Nicky Hall. It's super easy as there is no measuring involved! 

The map style papers were a set I had in my stash and everything else is from the set of digis.
