Hello everyone,
I hope you are all having a lovely weekend and perhaps getting in some crafting time.
I hope you are all having a lovely weekend and perhaps getting in some crafting time.
Apologies that I have been missing in action this past week, but work has taken over once again, and it has been a rubbish week too. I have managed to prepare my DT cards, but that has been all. I am quite excited though, I have finally given in and am going to have a craft room, I currently craft in the lounge as I like to be part of the family, however with both the boys having left home and Phil spending most of his time in his office I am going to move into one of the spare bedrooms. It is still in the planning stages, but I am really looking forward to it.
Enough rambling from me as we have a new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia. The theme this time is lace and pearls and our lovely sponsor is the Ribbon Girl.
I have coloured up another of the new Maggies, Tilda Hiding Rose Bouquet. I wanted to experiment with some different colours, this is my second attempt as the first one went in the bin, but I'm still not overly happy with it. The papers are Maja (not that you can see them) and the bingo style sentiment is a Joy Stamp. The sweet little bird cage is a Joy die and the die at the top of the card is by Heartfelt Creations. The Pearls, Lace and Flowers are from my stash.
Copics I used:
Skin: E21, 00, 000, E93
Hair: E57, 43, 53, 50
Dress & Boots: Y28, 26, 23, E44, 43, 42, 41, 40
Roses: R89, 85, 83, YG99, 97, 95, 93
Prisma Pencils: Burnt Ochre, Dark Umber Black
I hope you can join us in our challenge and be in with a chance of winning this fabulous prize.
Enjoy the rest of Sunday and thank you for popping n.
Hugs

Beautiful card, as always, lots of embellishments and interest. How exciting to be planning your own room. It's best to take your time figuring out exactly what storage and work space you will need from the start, I didn't have that chance and my room has evolved as time has past and nothing seems to fit or be organised at all, nightmare. Good luck with the planning, maybe you can show some piccies when it's done?
