Rowan Fairy - New Colour challenge at the Ribbon Girl

Good morning everyone,

We are celebrating Mother's Day in the U.K today, so I hope all you Mum's out there are have a lovely day and hopefully you are being spoilt rotten. Both the boys and of course Kyra the dog are popping over this afternoon and will also be having dinner with us.

This morning we have a new colour challenge at the Ribbon Girl and the colour this month is GREEN. The links to the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

I have coloured up one of my new Whimsy (Wee) stamps by Sylvia Zett called Rowan Fairy using DI markers and Re-Inkers. The papers are by Pion. Peeping out at the top is a Paper Doily. Along the top edge I've added some ivory guipure lace and ivory pearl string. To the left is a cream daisy, I removed the centre and put a green gem in it's place, tucked underneath the daisy are some ivory/cream berries . To the right are a couple of scrummy green apples. I just love the ivory tulle embroidered  lace. The ribbon is sage organza and and in the centre of the bow is an stunning oval green diamante embellishment.

On the base of the card is some more of the ribbon and lace and a Noor Design tag.

DI colour list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered rose
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Clothes: Fired Brick, Pumice Stone
Leaves: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters
Fruit: Fired Brick, Peeled Paint.

Once again there are two generous prizes up for grabs this month:

To spend in their gorgeous shop

and

Die Set and Clear Stamps from Marrianne Designs NL

I will be popping back in this afternoon - see you later.

Hugs
Gina xx
