New Challenge - Marvelous Magnolia - Tilda with Snow Skis

Hi everyone,

I hope you had a lovely weekend, I had a fabulous  girly shopping trip with the girls from work on Saturday, it was really a lovely day out. Sadly I didn't have much chance to do any crafting this weekend as I was trying to get presents etc sorted for Christmas, it's amazing how long it all takes, but thankfully I'm nearly done now.

Today, we have a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia and our challenge is 'Anything Goes Christmas.

I have coloured up one of last years Christmas Maggies, called Tilda with Snow Skis and masked her with Old Swedish Church.

The circle die peeping out from the top, on the edge icicle and the ice crystal on the right hand side are Joy dies from Noor Design U.K., the snowflake banner is a Lala Lands die and the poinsettia is a Marianne die. I coloured the image using DI reinkers and added some frantage for the falling snow, glamour dust for the lying snow and covering the snowflake banner. The poinsettia die has had some twinklets sprinkled around the petals. Around the image is some lovely pom pom trim from the Ribbon Girl.

The flowers, ribbon, lace, charm and rhinestone sparklers are from my stash.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Hat, Scarf and Gloves: Barn Door, Aged Mahogany
Top and Trousers: Hickory Smoke
Church: Hickory Smoke, Weathered Wood

That's it from me today.

Thank you so much for popping in.

Take care.

New Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge - Words - It's all about the sentiment

Good morning,

Wahoo it's Friday, I hope you have all had a good week, once again the week has flown by, I can't believe we are almost into December. Tomorrow I am looking forward to having a girly Christmas shopping day with the girls from work and of course a delicious girly lunch too.

Anyway enough of my rambling. I am popping in share my DT card for the Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge. The lovely Annie is hosting this challenge and and our theme is 'Words - it's all about the sentiment'.

I found a Christmas sentiment by Circadesign called 'A Snowy White Blanket' which I stamped with Versarmark Stamp pad, sprinkled with burgundy embossing powder  and heat set it. I coloured up the gorgeous Tilda with Little Snowy Snowman and coloured her with DI reinkers. I have added a couple of black pearl gems to represent buttons. The deep red papers are from a Heartfelt Creations Frosty Blanket paper pad. Peeking out at the top is my favourite Icicle border from Noor Design U.K. I also cut some separate Icicles and layered them on top to give some extra dimension. Links to the materials I used are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to taken directly to the product. The ribbon, lace and flowers are from my stash.
