New Winter Challenge at Marvelous Magnolia

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well and had a brilliant weekend and had some crafty time too. Sadly my time off has come to an end and I am back at work today.

Today we have a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia and our theme for the next two weeks is 'Winter'.

I am patiently waiting for my new Christmas maggies to arrive, but until they do I coloured up the lovely 'Show me the Way Tilda and masked her with my favourite background stamp Old Swedish Church. I kept the colouring to grey tones to hopefully create a colder feel to the scene. The icicles are a Joy die which I have covered with Glamour Dust,it is my favourite glitter which this gives a lovely sparkly effect.  Underneath the flowers on the left I've  cut a  Memory Box die, loopy rings onto some white card.  The fern leaves are an old Magnolia Doohickey die. I've sprinkled some Twinklets onto the flowers which gives a beatuiful frosty effect. All the beautiful embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl, I am so in love with the new Silver flake web ribbon, it looks amazing and forms a beautiful bow.
